Royal chicken & biscuit — Restaurant in Newark

I am writing to formally express my disappointment following a recent experience at your Market Street location.

On Tuesday May 13 2025, I visited the store in the morning and ordered a sandwich and coffee. However, I was overcharged for my order. When I politely asked for clarification, the staff member who took my order responded rudely, stating it was the "card price" and added an additional $4. When I requested to speak with a manager, he became confrontational and told me to "get out, you bum."

This level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, and I am very disappointed with how I was treated as a customer. I believe every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and fairness.

I hope you will look into this incident and take appropriate action to ensure it does not happen to others in the future. I would also appreciate a response regarding how this situation will be addressed.

Avoid it! Place looked nice, but don’t be deceived. This place is so ghetto! If you decide to order from here, beware of their “Italian sandwich” it’s just a cheese burger with a lot of fries inside it soaked with ketchup, really nasty. Popcorn chicken felt old.
