Big Z Pizza — Restaurant in Newark

Decided to try Big Z Pizza today after getting menu in the mail recently. Considering that a lot of pizza places are going too commercialized lately and charging outrageous prices. Big Z was a definite 5 in my book! They actually had real chunked chicken in there buffalo chicken cheesesteak! Awesome! Also, not shy on the meat for their ham club and the fries are delicious! Great job we will definitely be ordering from Big Z Pizza again! :-) Updated on 08/26/16:

Don't know if BigZ is under different management, has different cooks, or what in the world they've changed there! But, unfortunately last night we made a large order from them and it was nothing like before! The fries were soggy, the cheesesteaks were half filled and had mushrooms in one without ordering it, the once tasty buffalo chicken cheesesteak was overloaded with black pepper and only half filled as well, and the onion rings had no onions! The only good tasting item was the jalapeno poppers! The delivery was faster than expected though. Ordered from Grubhub one night because it had high ratings so I figured, "how bad can it be right?". I mean, it's a pizza place and had a pretty diverse menu so i decided to just go with it. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak with some extra toppings and my partner ordered a fajita wrap with ranch inside (as per special request). The food got here earlier than expected so at first I was pleased...that is until I opened the box and took a bite. First off, my cheesesteak had all of the toppings scattered throughout the box and my partners wrap had no ranch whatsoever. After taking my first bite, I realized the bread tasted old and stale. We both got fries and shared the same sentiment of them being bland - no salt, pepper, ANY seasoning on them whatsoever. Even adding salt to them didn't help the bland taste. Plus, we both had cheese on our orders and it tasted like plastic - again, bland, like government cheese. I called them to let them know how dissatisfied I was with my order and they tried to offer me 15% off my next order. I told them flat out I would not be ordering from them anymore. I was a first time customer and it was a HORRIBLE meal. Avoid...

Diddid unfortunately did not like the pizza. Yea it’s a good price $6 for a large but it tastes like chucky cheese pizza according to diddid. Diddid doesn’t like chucky cheese pizza so he doesn’t like big Z pizza either. This was diddid’s birthday dinner and we thought he would like it but he did not and now diddid is sad with us cuz this was what we got diddid for his 82nd birthday dinner. We thought about going to Anthony’s but diddid said it is too expensive at $25 a pie, then we called border cafe and their wait was 40 minutes so diddid said no. We wanted Cajun seafood but diddid said no. We had to settle and now diddid is mad. Worst birthday ever? Well we got wings to go and diddid had one wing so that’s good. Diddid threw the crust out to the rats but diddid said the rats won’t even want that....
