I went to this kiosk in Newark airport, ordered a decaf coffee, was given a paper receipt and told to go to another kiosk to pay. Kiosk wasn't clearly marked and I sort of followed a line. When I got up to pay, there were no clear directions so when I saw a slot with a bar code on it, I inserted my receipt. Then I was asked to scan my items, with no clear place I presumed it may have been the small, dark, blank screen. Of course my receipt was in the slot and I couldn't scan it. I pressed the " help" button but after five frustrating minutes of no attention, someone waiting to pay for their order shouted that someone needed help at the pay station. The pay station only had a slim blinking light, nothing that would attract any attention from nearby clerks. Overall experience - dreadful - except the coffee was good, so only one star. As I was leaving someone was asking the manager where she could complain and make some suggestions. Please ask me as I also have a few ideas. The workers for the most part were nice, the lade who finally came to help me seemed very annoyed and not very pleasant to deal with. I fully understand how people can be difficult, but I'm unfamiliar with scanning my purchased goods and running from paying kiost to paying kiosk to pay for a stupid cup of coffee! I finally was told to go across the way to pay and had to come back to get my coffee. She had the nerve to say I should rush as my coffee was getting cold. Perhaps if someone was paying attention, I wouldn't have wasted all this time. Never again shall I get coffee at...
Read moreI had the worst experience since a long time. The two ladies working on 27th August in the morning were absolutely rude to me. One was ignoring me when I was asking to give me the croissant I had paid for ( she had given me the coffee but not the croissant). While she was eating a croissant herself by the coffee machine, back on me, she decided to ignore my three calls. After shouting “excuse me” for the 4th time, the other worker came back from the back room and took her defense saying she had said “just a minute” which I obviously could not hear if it was done ( not sure I could have heard it since she was back on me and eating a croissant anyway). I told them that the minimum was to acknowledge me calling them and addressing me in a courteous manner. They were so rude and non apologetic, laughing the situation out and sending me out with “ be happy” “ god bless you” and so on, obviously not meaning a thing. Terrible experience! The almond cappuccino also was not good. It is time for a change of staff and coffee! I see all the bad reviews they got and I can’t explain why they are still there. Competition please come to the rescue!! We need service and coffee- I wish another roaster coffee would be there instead. Even Starbucks does a better job with coffee...
