I am a Starbucks stan, so I was very disappointed in my experience at this location this morning.
I am a Starbucks regular and have a typical order that includes Peppermint syrup. I went through the drive-thru, ordered my drink, and upon taking a sip before leaving the parking lot realized that there must have been a mistake since my drink tasted like half the cup was peppermint syrup. I have never had this happen before, so I thought it must have been a simple mistake, so I parked and walked in to let the barista know and ask if they could possibly reorder my drink. Up until this point, I am still a happy customer. I understand that these things happen and it's not a big deal. However, the reaction from the barista was next-level RUDE. She let out an exasperated sigh, rolled her eyes, and let me know that if I want the drink a certain way then I need to order it as such (I guess I need to specifically ask them to not put 15 pumps of Peppermint syrup in my drink?). She said that she would replace it THIS TIME, but next time it was on me... Feeling very uncomfortable (and a little embarrassed) at this point I just walked away, forgetting my existing drink (the gross one) on the counter. The barista then yelled at me, "ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE THIS (gesturing at the coffee)?! IT'S NOT MY TRASH!". Everyone in the establishment looked at me like I had just done something horribly wrong - to add to my existing embarrassment.
Maybe their employees need a reminder of the core values of Starbuck's service model? I do not necessarily thing the 'customer is always right'. But. I don't think the customer deserves to...
Read moreWe stopped in today on our road trip and I was wowed by the service. Everyone who worked there was welcoming! I went inside rather than going through the drive-thru and ordered the drinks and ask for a puppuccino for the dog. I laughed and said that the dog was in the car but I couldn't prove it. The woman at the counter shared my humor and assured me that even if the whip cream was for me it would be just fine! I loved it! We chatted about my dog since there was no one right behind me. After that while I waited for my drink to be made the other woman who was working quickly on drinks also managed to ask me about what my plans were for the day. I shared that we were on the way to the beach. There were several people working hard to keep the drive-thru going quickly, but the workers there still managed to say "hi" and greet each person who came in the door. As I left, I heard, "Have a great day at the beach!" I waved and thanked them. I felt great heading out. And the peppermint mocha Frappuccino was delicious. It's the friendliest Starbucks I've...
Read moreI was very disappointed with the customer service at this location. Never have I felt so disrespected and under valued as a regular Starbucks customer. I ordered a drip coffee, of which usually is served to me directly at the register after I pay. This time I was prompted to wait at the bar for my order. On this particular visit I waited over 10 mins and when I realized that I need to leave for work soon I asked the barista at the counter (of which I believe is a manager or shift lead) if they knew when my order was coming. Since it was a drip coffee I thought it would be fast. The barista responded very loudly "Nothing at Starbucks is fast. Everything takes at least 10 mins and you should have arrived earlier if you wanted to beat the traffic." It was completely uncalled for, and very unprofessional. A better response would have been "Let me check on that for you and I'll let you know asap." or "I am so sorry for the wait, let me look into that for you." I expected more...
