The Alamo — Restaurant in Newnan

Went there Sunday around 4 w my teenage kids. Sat next to a large group of 20 somethings doing shots and puffing on their vapes. No big deal.

Ordered the knucklehead pizza and waited. I leave the table for a moment and when i come back theres a beer on our table. We ordered tea. I let it sit. No big deal. Several minutesu later i hear a server say to someone “we still have knucklehead on tap”. It hit me about a minute later. I took the beer to the bar and told him he brought me a knucklehead beer when i ordered a knucklehead pizza. (Why would they have a beer and a pizza named the same thing?) anyway no big deal

So by this time the kids next door are getting pretty loud. The girls have formed a trio and are in the recording booth. Several rounds of shots by now and some are actually sitting in the window sill above the booth. A cloud of vapor hanging above the table

So I says to myself, heck this a BAR. I pull out my pipe with a mild aromatic blend and light it. Within two puffs two guys descend on our table like swat in a no knock raid and one of them looks at me like i have horns growing out of my head and almost yells what are you doing you cant smoke in here!!!!

I motion towards the teeny boppers and said , I figured I could…

I Put it out…. a couple of minutes later a guy walks up trying to hand us a pepperoni pizza that we didnt order… i figure our guy ordered us a pepperoni pizza and a knucklehead beer instead of just the knucklehead pizza..

So our pizza comes. Its good! We noticed we didnt have plates but the table was covered in fresh butcher paper so we figure thats how its done here… cool. What evs. 3/4 through the pie and a guy walks by and is like…erm… let me get yall some plates…

Finished eating, paid the tab and headed out. Prob won’t be back.

What a cool place! So, it looks like we'll be spending Christmas Eve in Newnan for the next several years (long story) but we were so excited to get down there and find this cool pizza place, housed in an historic theater, was OPEN when most places had shot down!

We had the best time. The food was awesome, there was a great selection of beer and thoughtful cocktails and our server was the sweetest guy. The vibe is just fun and funky in such a cool location.

Since it was Christmas Eve, the place was decorated with lights and tinsel, and they had a variety of holiday movies showing on all their multiple big screens. We spent a couple hours here and truly had the best time!

Loved the pizza - the crust was tasty with just the right amount of crunch and chewiness. The toppings were flavorful and plentiful. The garlic knots with cheese were OUT OF THIS WORLD.

I hope y'all will be open again next year when we are stopping through on Christmas Eve! Thanks for making our night...

Went for first time Saturday cuz a friend me my husband and both our friends had a good time music was great we didn't know what time they stoped serving food so was 4 mins late to order 🤣 but they said they stop serving food at 12 and the 2 drinks I wanted they didn't have don't know if they was just out or don't serve it but had other drinks to drink everything was good wasn't to busy so had a place to sit and guy at front who checks IDs and puts on bracelet was very nice and checked on how I liked the place during the night the only thing I didn't like is you cannot smoke inside you have to walk outside so drinking and haveing to walk outside over and over was the only part I definitely wasn't feeling but would recommend going and definitely...
