Best Burgers in town, by far. Just good, American burgers made right, with no frugal attempts made at serving their burgers on fancy-smantsy specialty buns, like McDonald's has started doing, Which spoils burgers. Also, Burger Kings fries are usually not oversalted, most other fast food joints in the Newport area, more often then not, put way too much salt on their fries. Burger King also offers up a relitivly good selection of products there is a large selection to choose from. Burger King is, in my opinion,by far the best fast food burger joint in Newport.
However, that does not mean Newport's Burger King is perfect. It definately has its flaws. The biggest, most blaring, most annoying and agitating flaw that Newport's Burger King has is the sad and disappointing fact that the Burger King road sign, in front of the store, providing it's main advertising from Hwy 101, has its lights compleately burned out, or otherwise not working. That sign has not been turned on in way over a year, and the store is located where, without the sign being lit up, is back up off the road enough to not be easily seen by passers by from Hwy 101, making it easy to miss it if not paying attention, hell, it's even easy for locals like me to drive right on past it and compleately miss it, if not paying extreemly close attention. This tends to tell me that the owner is to cheep to fix a blairinf advertising and location/viability issue by investing the funds that definately should be allicated towards the repairing, maintaining, and running of the lights on that sign. If he did, it would definately not take over a year in order to get that sign lit up and in working order. It is my strong opinion that Corporate should look into this issue, and get involved in the local owner/franchisees handling of this particular situation and how he or she is handling (or not handling/addressing) this situation! Also, their milkshakes are God auful. But, other then those two things, Burger King is absolutely the...
Read more1st trip lunch..To much playing around by employees. Lots of standing around joking and laughing. Food was ok.
2nd trip breakfast. We only went there due to McDonalds being closed. I can understand having a bad day and/or being shorthanded but there is no excuse to be rude to customers that are spending hard earned money to feed their families while on vacation. Tables dirty. Bathrooms filthy. They ran out of sugar, creamer, and syrup. Who knows what else they ran out of. Being rude to customers. Let customers food sit on counter without calling out number. Rude when confronted about it. Denying that it happened even though there was several different witnesses that said they heard no number being called out. Watched several people walk out before even ordering. Shaking their heads while leaving. Manager blaming it on being short staffed. Sorry not an excuse! Your job is customer service. Smile and be friendly! Management needs to make sure they are checking their inventory daily!! Definitely wont be returning to...
Read moreSuper unhappy.. We ordered sundaes.. The guy tried handing them to us in a tray thru the drive thru.. Literally dripping chocolate thru the holes in the bottom. I asked him for a new tray.. His gloved hands were covered in chocolate as he handed them to us in the new tray. But the subdaes were so overfilled and drippimg down the sides with chocolate that it still dripped all over the car. And then the napkins and spoons he handed us were covered in chocolate... I asked him to please change his gloves. And he rudely informed me he was still serving me my food and he would later.. The manager came over as i asked for my waters i had ordered and she told me i needed to ask for my water at the window because they dont keep track of these things.. The guy handed me the waters with still chocolate covered hands. I told the manager he needs to change his gloves and she glared at me and closed the window.. Very rude.. Very unprofessional. And now i have chocolate stains on car...
