I always stay in this historic district in Newport for the nice beach to walk on, the amazing sunrises over the ocean, and the great variety of places to eat in. The area is home to the Visual Arts Center, the Performing Arts Center, and a number of galleries. You can access the beach at Davis Park and at the Nye Beach Turnaround with parking at both places. The area was the first resort area of Newport and has a small village feel to it with hotels, shops, restaurants, and a number of other services. A great place to stay in Newport with a long beach to walk on, art galleries to browse in, bakeries to grab a sweet treat, beautiful sunsets and sunrises over a endless horizon.

Nye Beach is one of my favorite beaches in Oregon. It's extremely close to the amazing restaurants and bars and candy shops. Every time I go there I always find opportunities to take amazing photos. It is a family tradition to go every year and I am never disappointed with the experiences I have there. During this pandemic people have been naturally social distancing which I found refreshing.

Nye Beach is both a beach and a little neighborhood in Newport with several cute shops, restaurants, and bars. The beach itself is nice, but access isn't as easy as, say, the longer and flatter beach in Lincoln City because of a lack of parking at the end of several small, narrow streets. But if you're staying in the area, the beach is very nice (and a little quieter than some others).

A great beach, with restaurants and shops very close. When the sand is wet, a power wheelchair can navigate out to the water without the need for a special chair or a Mobi mat. However, the sand was in piles around the entrance, so an investment in a Mobi mat would be a wise investment for the community.

A lot of little shops with very intersting stuff! Several restaurants to go to, but my favorite part of my trip of course was the beautiful beach! Crystal clear water over mesmorizing ripples in the sand!! Super calming and a good way to forget your troubles and enjoy the beauty of the Oregon Coast.

Nye Beach is a central district in Newport in the U.S. state of Oregon. The Nye Beach historic overlay district is bounded on the north and south sides by Northwest Twelfth Street and Southwest Second Street respectively; on the east side by Hurbert Street and on the west side by the Pacific Ocean.
