If I could give no stars I would. We stopped getting pizza from here awhile ago, better options around with better taste and no delivery charge. They have a special running now on their internet stating call in at 4:02 pm and get a large cheese pizza for $4.02, minimum 5. So we decided to give it a shot as I had my son & grandkids coming over. First: they would not honor the "5 minimum" they have posted on their website !! -laughed and said "oh we need to update that, you can get 2" ! NOT right, even legally. So I went ahead and ordered 2 pizzas, paying extra to add sausage and ordered a "specialty white pizza" adding spinach & bacon (FIRST pizza place I ever came across that charged extra for white pizza & called it "speciality"! It's just leaving off the red sauce and adding cheese & garlic ! No need to charge extra) Husband picked up the pizza....it was very disappointing ! I come from CT and grew up on REAL Italian Wooster St pizza and this was not close. It was VERY dry of sauce, WAY over-cooked, dry, very dark and sausage dried up on top almost burnt. Crust was more Greek style and too thick with strange taste. The "special" pizza I ordered was also dry, -sparse cheese, no garlic flavor, also over-cooked ? I do cut a LOT of slack on pizza styles and taste in RI and usually don't judge too harshly but even at $4.02-$5.49 each this pizza was not worth ordering again. I only ate 2 pieces, kids didn't even finish one each, and husband & son who will eat anything ate a few and we tossed the rest away as was so dry you wouldn't be able to reheat without it becoming shoe leather. NO excuse for over-cooked, dry pizza ! Never again..too many better options...
Read moreI don't usually don't give a negative review unless have I tried something 3 times, however this new location is not much better than their original place was in recent years prior to closing.
Was hoping they improved their Eggplant Parmesan entree, but it's actually more wimpy than when when they were on the rotary near the navy base. Asked for sauce on the side because I don't like my eggplant drowned out and soggy in sauce and instead of putting cheese on the eggplant they put it on the pasta. Was disappointing that I was only given three very thin slices that were less than adequate and was so thin I could not taste it. Also ordered the half size House Salad for $5.50 and was given a small plastic container with what seemed like frugal portioned pieces of tomato and cucumber and the carrots were large lazy chunks rather than shredded or sliced. It did't seem like they offer pasta refills as they once did, but I probably would not have ordered more anyway because the Penne tasted dry, chalky and cheap like they bought out Job Lots expired inventory.
They were once successful and had made their name in Newport but I just don't think their heart is in the business anymore as was obvious when they didn't let the public know what was going on after their rotary...

I’m giving one star for great delivery time (almost too fast) & another for the chicken wings that were perfect.
Negative one star for bad toppings, bad crust, bad cheese - the pizza was horrible we didn’t even have a second slice & it’s still an almost complete pizza, no ones had seconds even the next day & that has never happened in my household! Yes that bad & I hate to complain but the meat & crust were so hard like it had been left out & reheated. And all the specialty toppings that are normally cooked & under the melted cheese looked just tossed on top & some were still raw, barely cooked. Nothing like undercooked mushrooms, hard dry sausage & chewy green pepper oh yum. We were told it would be 45 minutes which we expected, but it arrived in less than 20 minutes. It literally looked like a left over thin crust cheese pizza that they just threw extra toppings on top & barely broiled it to reheat it. The cheese was not gooey but hard, very...
