I came here Sunday 5/26/24 after a nearby McDonald's did not have any running water. So after having to drive to two seperate mcdonald's, I come to this McDonald's, go through the drive-thru, I pull up to the payment window, and the lady charges me for the person's order in front of me who had just driven off with the food from the last window up front where you get your food from. The car that was in front of me skipped the payment window because there was nobody at the payment window at the time when they approached the window. But that person still knew that they did not I only had a certain amount of money on the card that I was paying with so after the lady swiped my card she said I still owed to which then I knew something was wrong because my order was only $6 and some change. After sitting there and having the manager come help who then told the lady that she never should have left the window, I was told that I would be reimbursed and refunded because I was charged for an order that I never made. I still have not received that money back. I was charged $9.29 and was told I still owed bc that's all I had on the card which indicates that the person who's in front of me had an order that was more than $9.29. going to be honest, I even took pictures of my fish sandwich, the bun looks like somebody had their fingers all over it. It wasn't great but after waiting to eat after having to go to two different mcdonald's, I didn't have time to go to a third. I left that window being told that the refund "should" be back on there. The manager was nice but after my experience between both McDonald's trips I took within an hour and a half time frame just to try to get food, which was a fish sandwich, a large iced tea and some french fries, I have to say I need a little bit more than nice! Where is my money? How can 2 McDonald's mess up this bad? First one McDonald's did not have any running water and didn't tell customers at the Bellevue KY location, so I couldn't even wash my hands after using the bathroom and therefore couldn't order food either, and then this! I know a few bucks may not seem like a lot of money to you guys but I was going to take that few bucks and throw it in my gas tank. I put aside so much money so that I can eat when I'm out working. By the way, they never provided me with the receipt. Instead all I have to go off of is my order which I can screenshot and show from this location at 9:48 p.m. on May 26th 2024. But if you speak to the manager who is on duty that evening at that time and the lady who was working the window then they will know EXACTLY which order this is that I am referring to.
I usually use the app and with the app the free fry deal usually comes with a large fry so I was surprised that it came with a small fry. The manager did give me a second fry. Also, the large sweet iced tea looked nearly like water. I have pics of that and the fish sandwich too. I would not have felt the need to take pictures etc if it weren't for my experience between both McDonald's locations in just a short time frame back to back. It took me nearly an hour and a half just to get some food. I have to say I have never had any issues like I have ever had them with McDonald's! And McDonald's is the place I frequent most. Between how much you guys keep increasing prices and the lack of service, I do not know if I'm going to continue coming here especially when it means putting people's Health at risk when the Bellevue Kentucky location did not have running water. I am sure however I'm not positive at this moment that the person who is the franchise owner of these locations if there is a franchise owner, probably oversees or owns both of these locations. I have kids, they ordered happy meals & wanted a different toy so I went in to buy 'em...ha ha big joke I guess bc they won't sell toys without forcing you to buy a happy meal to get it. That's was the MANAGER'S DECISION & when I asked 'when did that start?' she rolled her eyes at us (my kids & me) refusing to answer. She must've decided we weren't worth her time, eye contact, nor common courtesy. I thought others would want to know, if you plan to get your kid an extra toy or just a toy DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! That lady must be on a power trip bc I called 3 other locations, each assured me that I could come in any time to purchase a toy as long as they have them in stock. What's the actual policy on this McDonald's?
