RISE Grab & Go Kitchen - SOUTH BEACH — Restaurant in Newport

I called South Beach, as I work nearby, and tried to order a sandwich from their menu. The menu specifically for South Beach and was told they had grab and go and they "should" still have options at 12:30. They would not even take my order but instead told me to call Nye Beach. I double checked and sure enough I was indeed looking at the South Beach menu when I called. the young woman on the phone did not even ask me what kind of sandwich I was trying to order. The food is so good but if I can't even pre-order a simple sandwich, what is even the point. Not worth the frustration and dismissal...

Ordered vegan club open face bagel, on November 2nd at noon. We expected quality food and quality handling of the food.

We were shocked that staff handled the food with bare hands, one of the staff did not even appear to wash her hands before touching the food.

Also, the avocado spread was from the bottom of the container and was a funky brown color.

Altogether, a troubling experience. Not the excellent lunch we expected...

Called because they showed vegan options available. I was told don't have vegan meats or cheeses although it is on the menu. So I would be able to get a salad or a bagel with vegetables. Which is an option but a bummer when they advertise other vegan options on their menu. Definitely need to update their...
