Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Newton

I decided to get pizza tonight so I looked up the closest Domino's and found this one. I followed the GPS to the area location. I soon realized that the usual highlighted sign capable of being seen when in the distance, wasn't there to be seen. I asked one of the local residents who told me it used to be one here but I think it's been moved to another location. I figured this woman was clueless and only concerned about phone texting. I parked and called from the drug store across the street. The worker advised me that they were across the street from the store. I checked across the street, bam, there it was in the distance. The front area didn't have good lighting like you would normally see in the business signage. The business is tucked into the strip mall type area with other small businesses. Each of the workers I came in contact with were competent, capable, and helpful when I called and when I entered the store. The cashier was friendly and efficient.

The cheese steak sandwich is a failure and is not worth it. The cheese steak sandwich I ordered did NOT meet expectations. I ordered light onions and light mushrooms. My sandwich was basically featured mushrooms, onions, and bread so it was a hunting expedition to find the steak. I did find the cheese stick to the bread.

I ordered the boneless chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce. The sauce tasted old, my choice would be the ranch next time. The nuggets were on point and really good. They were hot, freshly cooked, and not with an old taste. The seasoning wasn't bad without the dip and is how I enjoyed them the first time I bought them a few weeks ago.

I think the salads are a decent side item purchase. I bought the garden salad this instance and it was not bad. The green lettuce was not brown tinted upon opening it. I still think that the sauce is not enough, but one can purchase more. The onion was not fresh, but was extremely strong when I opened the plastic...

WORST customer service, waiting for a refund from last week $49 and change! Ordered from the wrong store, was told that night by a very rude manager whom talked over me and hung up on me she is not a manager who does refunds! I have to wait till Thursday for that manager! It was only Tuesday night! Wednesday another rude manager that was patronizing and still refused to help! Thursday about 11:30 I got the refund manager, first he can’t find my order, then he doesn’t understand why I want a refund and then he said it was already processed. When I disagreed with him he said he was too busy to talk to his manager he would get back to me! I said today before you go home this is silly I recieve not produce and no refund that you I waited for you to give and you are telling me it’s been done? NO NO the rudeness I have spoken at your store trying to get my money have hung up on me , talked over me and patronized me but I have not got a REFUND! I have reported the store to corporate but besides a case number I hsve yet to speak to a live person! This store manager/owner still has not refunded me, called me back and now my calla to the store go unanswered!!!’n Please return my money id will go to the BBB I have no ide why you can’t do what is right !!!!’ Today I want my refund I feel a week and half I have waited put up with rudeness and waiting it’s time to refund me...

I normally don't write reviews, but my experience here was so bad that I have to write one.

The first red flag came when I had called the store.. They made me wait so long that I figured they were closed, but I was so desperate for this pizza (dominos is pretty much the only pizza place open after 11pm) that after a solid minute and a half of hollow ringing, they finally picked up.

I was greeted- actually, sorta yelled at by a man with a really thick accent. He bluntly said "Number?", and I listed it once, then again, and by the third time of me trying to repeat it he interrupted and told me that I had to "wait a sec".

I listened to these guys talking to each other for like a solid three minutes. (Again, desperate for this pizza). Finally, this other guy picks up the phone, doesn't apologize for the wait, and again, just bluntly says "Number?".

I really tried to take this guy seriously, but by the fourth time of me trying to list my number to these guys I couldn't help but laugh a little.

The man on the other side of the phone goes "are you gonna laugh or are you gonna order something?"

Needless to say, it was a pretty ridiculous experience.

Oh, also he told me it would be 40 minutes for a small cheese pizza. That kinda sucked too. The pizza itself was pretty up to par for dominos, but the service was the worst...
