Dined with a party of 6 last Saturday evening - had made reservations online. Service was very slow. Some simple dishes took over 40 minutes to come out. Was served a scallop small plate and the scallops had that telltale ammonia smell that they were well past their prime. Let the server know. Two of my party shared some additional seafood plates - octopus and calamari dishes - which only they ate. Later that evening one of them got violently ill. So much so that we had to take him to urgent care the next day. They diagnosed that it was highly likely it was food poisoning. The second guest also got ill hours later. I informed the restaurant the following day and they took my info and said a manager would get back to me. Two days later they did get back to me - which is good - and I let them know that one of my dinner party guests required an urgent care visit and that another had also gotten sick. Her response was that no one else reported anything to them and they spoke to the chef and they are confident the kitchen follows the right date and temperature rules for seafood. I felt that was a NOT the response they should have given me. No admission it possibly could have been their fault, no asking me how the ill guests were doing. Tone deaf. I spent over $350 for our guests with a nice tip (even with the scallop dish being removed from the bill and acknowledging the slow service was not our server's fault), and it just feels like such a poor experience that we won't go back. It is a shame because we have enjoyed the Warrington location with no issues. There is a teaching moment here about customer relations and they failed on most of the key things. What's done is done, but perhaps letting others know our experience through this...

I’ve been to the Warrington location multiple times, and it never disappointed me. You pay a premium, but the food and service were always top-level. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about this one. The place is really bright, and there are way more seats per square foot than there should be, so it feels like you’re cramped in there. The service was decent, so that’s the reason I gave this place some stars, even though the food was disappointing. I ordered a sirloin steak, and I asked the waiter if the kitchen knew how to cook it black and blue, as it’s the way I always preferred it at their other location. He confirmed that they do, but when I got it, it was just cooked rare. As a matter of fact, I was okay with it until I realized it was cold. And I’m not talking about it not being just-off-the-grill sizing hot. I mean, it was colder than the ambient temperature in the dining room. Yes, black and blue means it’s burned on the outside and rare on the inside, but it doesn’t mean it’s served cold. I tried one corner and one middle piece just to make sure I was not crazy, and explained to the waiter the situation. He was very understanding and said they’ll take care of it. After about a 5 to 7-minute wait, I got it back. It was the same steak but slightly rearranged. Guess what you should do to a rare stake? RIght. You should not try to heat it up. I ended up with a well-done steak, which I don’t like at all. I wasn’t alone and didn’t feel like ruining the whole evening for my friends, so I just decided to let it go. Though, that’s definitely not what I expect when I pay almost $50 for a dish. I’ll never revisit this place or recommend...

June 28, 2025 - 4 for dinner

Sadly must start off with the parking situation in the shopping center is STUPID and the developers and landlord should be fired or fined. And so bad they waste a parking spot with a dummy police cruiser it seems as we walked an 1/8 of a mile and my wife and I have NEVER abused her mom's handicapped placard in 4 years but did so I did not have to Uber from the parking lot from another town???

Nice place, decor and setting were trendy and clean!! Place settings and glassware clean and clear.

Service was very good and plenty of menu knowledge and help.

Its been over a week from our visit and I washed the receipt while travelling so the details will have to be overlooked as are the pictures?

the rest of the crew were pleased with their entree and we had some good appetizers. I had some trouble with a whole food or plant based options but did come upon a QUINOA TABBOULEH and a SALT ROASTED BEETS and BRAISED WHITE BEANS that were acceptable and hit my hunger spot!!!

Reasonably priced although drinks were a bit pricey for what you got.

By the time we left, the parking lot was almost empty except for the dummy police car and our own vehicle on the opposite side of parking...

Arcana Restaurant in Newtown, PA, presents an unforgettable dining experience that masterfully marries traditional and innovative flavors. From the moment you walk in, there's an undeniable ambiance of sophistication, which is reflected not only in the decor but also in the culinary offerings. Among the standout dishes I had the pleasure of trying, the pork chop parm is truly a revelation. Expertly cooked to perfection with a balance of succulence and a crispy exterior, it redefines what one might expect from a classic parm dish. Equally delightful was the beet salad, a refreshing melange that highlighted the earthy sweetness of beets, complemented by an intricate play of textures and flavors. Every bite was a testament to the chef's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients and presenting them in thoughtfully crafted dishes. Service was impeccable, mirroring the attention to detail evident in every aspect of Arcana. For those in search of a memorable meal in Newtown, Arcana is an unmissable destination.

Amazing service and top notch cuisine. I am Turkish so I take mediterranean and middle easter food seriously and they did such a good job! Everything was delicious. My boyfriend and I got the keftedes (köfte for my fellow Turks) as an appetizer and it was very good. I will say my mom makes them better but this was very close. It came with a side of greek yogurt which is very traditional, but it was just plain greek yogurt. I wish they had done something fun with it, like adding sumac or dill or some seasoning but overall very good. I would recommend the roasted beets appetizer as well. There was a mix up with one of our dishes and our server Kelley handled it very well. Management came over to apologize and offer us free dessert. Even if the food wasn’t amazing (which it was and I can’t wait to try more stuff next time) I would go again just for the outstanding service. Great job Ardana!
