Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Niles Township

It was 7:00 pm when I ordered pizza for delivery, and when it was delivered to my house.

As soon as, I opened the pizza box in my house, and my dad was sitting at the table. I said "Dad you want some?"

I was SHOCKED THE PIZZA, WAS BURNT!!!!

"DAD, THIS .......BURNT!!!!!

He said "WHAT?"

He got up and looked at it and said:

"What kind of stuff is this?"

They took your money, and delivered you some pizza burnt?

I immediately got on the phone and waited for them, to pick up for a while. When I did get someone, they acted like they didn't want to talk to me on the phone!!!!!!!

My dad drove me up there with the pizza. Mind you it's cold outside!

When we mad it, I went in with the pizza in my hand. As we drove up, they saw me, with the pizza

I waited a while for someone to come to the counter so I could explain that the pizza was burnt! And I said "Hello" a young man with curly black hair in a hat, was grasping, a dirty rag in his hand. He looked at me, and I told him, as I put the pizza on the counter, that it was burnt and to look at it!!!!!

He said "It's not burnt!"

I said, "Look, I order here, all the time, my dad is in the car, even he says the pizza is burnt, it's burnt, LOOK AT IT!"

"I'M NOT GONNA, EAT THIS!!!"

He then got an attitude and said "Well make you another one"

I heard him back there slamming things down. In my mind, all I could say was "OH, H.....LL NOOOOO!!!!!

He pounding and slamming things down angry just because, I am a customer with proof, presenting a burnt large pizza and they goofed up!!!!!

He had another man up there with black nail polish too, who didn't argue as much as him, but I knew, he didn't agree with me either, but he gave me my refund as soon as I said I wanted one!!!

"YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!!""

"If it's burnt pizza, it's burnt pizza!!!"

"Why would I drive all the way out my house, to show you proof when you ignored my phone call?????????"

"YOU ARE NOT BUSY!!

And the delivery man had a tissue like he was wiping his nose with it!!!!

OK, let's see here! What words can I spew up to create a review with my short term memory. I have actually contemplated on visiting Jet's Pizza for a while now because it sits near my work place. While headed to work one evening I debated on two restaurants out of the many on Dempster St strip, but did not want to be too basic. After all this is Yelp, and what makes Yelping fun is trying different businesses instead of sticking to the same routine boring restaurants, so with that being said I gave Jet's Pizza a visit.

As for my order, I ordered the Jetzees - Grilled Chicken, which consisted of grilled chicken, provolone, lettuce & tomatoes; served w/ Italian dressing. Jetzees is basically deep dish pizza dough topped w/ butter and romano baked into a crunchy golden crust and layered w/ ingredients. And it has 9 selections to choose from including veggie! And yes! Grilled Chicken was amazing! I ate half prior to going to work and the other half after I got off of work. Nothing like encountering the stench of Jetzees - Grilled Chicken, after getting off work, however I was not disappointed with its taste.

Since I'm a pizza enthusiast I'm quite positive that I will return besides, I did not get the chance to try one of their pizza slices, which was actually the main reason why I stopped in, but was sidetracked by the Jetzees feature and 9 selections on the...

I ordered the New York style pizza let me start off first by saying the pizza was cold when I got here and I don't live that far away from the restaurant the pizza was supposed to be sliced in six slices not 8. it was sliced in 8, the pizza is overcooked. The atmosphere was great because I was in my motel room I didn't go there I probably should have. I will say that the one good part of the delivery was it was early it actually surprised me and the driver actually brought it up to my room which was a plus. I honestly don't know if I would eat here again this is the first time that I've actually ordered pizza in Chicago and I'm kind of scared to try other places, or even give this one a second chance I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it though$45 for a Pizza Plus the tip is just way too much for what I got if the pizza was hot and fresh looking and wasn't overcooked then I wouldn't have minded the $45 but no I definitely probably wouldn't get this again.
