Hard to believe my first review for this spot was almost 2yrs ago. Feel like this spot has been around awhile already. Have been frequently visiting here and there since their opening and after some time away, recently stopped by after our Baby Shower. Glad they brought back a chalkboard table so I did another tag (added here and to their Google Maps page)! Also glad they offer non-alcoholic spirits/cocktails! Always a chill and welcoming cozy spot. Definitely go and support small, local business. (Sun.10.09.22) Passed by this place a couple of times and decided to stop in to try out their cocktails and I must say, was not disappointed! All of their unique cocktails are hand-crafted, made-to-order. Staff were friendly and excellent with their crafts. Pictured here is their Latte Martini and Old Fashioned: Beer Spirit. The Beer Spirit is surely their secret weapon and is definitely unique and a must try! Made of one of Revolution Brewing's beers, distilled. Another cool thing about this spot was the opportunity to be creative and chalk up their bar area, although this may be updated to chopping block wood in the future! Came here the first day after our Civil Marriage and tagged up the countertop! Check out the photo here or Take Flight Spirits' Google Maps Page. Will be...

Take Flight Spirits is not a place for the timid. It is a place for those who understand that a drink is more than a drink—it is an art, a story, a moment captured in glass. You will not find vodka here, so do not come looking. This is a distillery for gin, for rum, for bourbon—spirits with character, spirits with history. They do not hide behind mixers or pretense. They stand tall, bold, and unyielding.

The drinks are crafted with precision, each one a testament to the skill of Kate, the bartender who works the bar as if she were born to it. Kate does not just pour drinks. She conjures them. Her hands are sure, her movements deliberate, her smile a quiet invitation to stay for one more. She understands what you need before you do.

You might start with a gin cocktail, clean and sharp as a Hemingway sentence. Or perhaps the dark sweetness of a rum concoction, heavy with the weight of distant shores. And when the night deepens, bourbon will call to you—a drink for those who know how to linger, how to let the warmth settle in the chest like a good story told at...

You won’t ever get a watered down drink from Take Flight!

My wife and I have had tons of mini-dates here (I suggest Village Inn Pizza next door), we’ve shown up for game nights, and on weeknights I’ve gone solo just to have a few drink and get some work done too.

Whatever the occasion, if you’re looking for quality drinks and a comfortable place to sit for a while, this is it!

Also, you should order...

We went here for the first time tonight and it was wonderful! Kate helped us and she was very friendly and personable, and the drinks were delicious! I got the Earl Grey Daiquiri, which was excellent. We also ordered a spirit-free hibiscus daiquiri and it was clearly well-thought-out and didn't feel like it was missing anything. Highly recommend for good drinks and a lovely atmosphere!
