Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Norco

First of all I’m so happy that Freddy’s has finally opened up near where I live! Despite the feedback that I’m providing, my family and I will likely come back because we do enjoy the food there. However, in comparison to the multiple Freddy’s locations that I have visited in other states, I still feel that this new location in Norco is working out a few things. First and foremost, the quality of the custard is top-notch, and probably the creamiest I’ve had in a long time. And the service is great at this location, particularly the order taker, who seemed to really know how to work the POS system. My major criticism is the portion sizes, particularly the amount of fries you get even when ordering a large as well as the small scoops of custard as seen in the photo (which was a two scoop size). And last but not least, the hamburger patties are missing the crispy edges that I’m so used to seeing and enjoying at other Freddy’s locations, and which I think Freddy’s is known for. It seems like corporate is still monitoring the activities at this location and so maybe the portion sizes will increase once the Norco crew actually takes over. So hopefully this is really just corporate’s fault and the Norco location will soon deliver the Freddy’s experience that I’m used to getting at...

On September 20, 2025, I visited Freddy’s and placed an order for two California-style combos without onions. When my order was ready, I noticed that both burgers had onions. I immediately informed the manager, but instead of remaking the burgers, she simply removed the onions in front of me. I explained that I did not want the flavor of onions on my burgers, yet both were still served to me as they were.

Later, we ordered two desserts: a kid’s sundae with “dirt and worms” and a mini concrete (½ vanilla, ½ chocolate) with brownie mix-in. Instead of the concrete, I was served two sundaes. When I pointed this out, the employee offered to make another one, but the replacement was incorrect again. I was then told to keep it, and that they would prepare another. Unfortunately, the final dessert was still wrong—it was again a sundae rather than the concrete I had originally ordered. At this point, I clarified once more that I simply wanted a mini ½-and-½ concrete with brownie.

This experience was very disappointing for my family and me. Management should place greater emphasis on accuracy, customer service, and overall customer satisfaction. Based on this visit, my family and I will not be returning to Freddy’s, and I will be sharing this feedback on your...

We love Freddy's and have had them before. First time trying this place in Norco. It is really small compared to the others. I ordered light seasoning on my fries with my combo. They put my fries on my husband's combo, and we realized it after he already ate most of them. So he ordered me another order of fries. He asked for extra grilled onions. Did not get it. His Patty Melt had very little grilled onions. One half of his patty melt had some grilled onions. The other half had literally 5 pieces of grilled onions. The place is a mess. So dirty. Tables not cleaned, the drink station was disgusting. It looked like it was not cleaned for days. Food on the floors, just bad. The employees were nice but that's about it. By the looks of the dining area, there was no way we were using the bathrooms. I can't imagine what those looked and smelled like. This store desperately needs help in cleanliness and prepping food. We will go to a different location next time with a lot more parking...
