We found this place out of pure coincidence. I just adore Italian food so I figured we would not go wrong trying this place. I LOVE the ambiance...brick walks, family pictures and wine galore. The smells from the kitchen were heavenly while entering through the doors. I ordered a Watermelon Cosmopolitan and it was FANTASTIC! My cousin ordered the aviation but it was not what she was accustomed to so our server switched it for another Watermelon Cosmo. Try that Cosmo! We order stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer along with garlic cheese bread. The stuffed mushrooms were filled with sausage and a taste lemon butter sauce. Divine. The garlic bread was a bit greasy but I still enjoyed it. That melted cheese on top of the bread made my heart happy. Lol. My cousin ordered a baked ziti with chicken. It was good but was missing a burst of flavor. She found it a bit bland. I ordered the chicken zaltimbocca with a side of angel hair pasta...covered in garlic butter. First time ever eating this dish. It had a very distinct flavor. The wine makes it have a flavor I can not describe. Its not a horrible dish but not something I'd order twice. We ended our dinner with a cannoli. I'm glad we had the experience but I've definitely eaten some awesome authentic Italian food in my life....to compare to and this did not compare. The people at the restaurant were very pleasant but I felt we over paid for what we got. My opinion of course. I'm very touchy about my Italian food. Everyone's palettes are different. To me ..food is meant to transport you to a euphoric place. Bursting full of flavor.

If you are looking for an amazing Italian Restaurant in Norcross,Georgia.I highly recommend Dominick’s located in old town Norcross. Upon arriving at the restaurant I was immediately made feel very welcome. I checked in with the hostess station and was seated to my table and not that long after checking in. I was served water and given a menu once I was seated at my table. I ended up ordering an Italian beer and an appetizer. The appetizer was absolutely amazing and was delicious. I ordered the Lasagna for my main course was it just perfect. Lastly to finish off my night at Dominick’s I ordered a Cappuccino. The cappuccino was delicious and perfect. The customer service at Domino’s was absolutely amazing and the staff were very professional. Everyone that worked at Dominick’s took so much pride in their Restaurant, Jobs and taking care of their customers. The restaurant was very clean and the restrooms were clean also. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland. I have traveled all over the world with the United States Marines. Also have traveled all over the United States. I certainly know a great Italian restaurant from all my travels. If you are looking for amazing Italian Cuisine look no further. You will definitely find it at Dominick’s located in Old Town Norcross , Georgia. Dominick’s rates five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ and more!!!! I definitely will be returning to Dominick’s upon my return to Old Town Norcross. You Definitely won’t be disappointed. Lastly I first went to Dominick’s back in 2001. The restaurant is constantly amazing.

My girlfriend and I are fans of italian, but it's hard to find it at a reasonable price. We normally end up at olive garden because of that but tonight we decided to stay local. We took the drive from the city of to norcross and parked in the cute downtown area. We were the only customers in there except one guy at the bar and were immediately seated in a nice booth at the back of the restaurant. We got a couple glasses of wine, a HUGE Caesar salad, and an order of cheese breadsticks to start. The salad was crisp and had the perfect amount of dressing and cheese and the breadsticks were amazing, not to crunchy but not too soft, covered in a smattering of cheeses that were so good I was just doing it on the oil and eating out platoon with the strips of garlic on it. Then I got the manicotti, three pasta tubes filled with perfectly textured ricotta cheese and spinach, the sauce was savory and has a great not to chunky but still substantial texture. My girlfriend got the mushroom ravioli, which was covered in a marsala sauce that she said was a little sweet for her taste, but the ravioli, mushrooms and onions were definitely to her liking. I would advise getting the half size options, they are very reasonably priced, and still have too much for for one person! All said and done, we were extremely surprised by the price, very reasonable! We will definitely be back!

Rating 2. Here's why. So, this is my first review. Arrived at 5:15 pm. (Note the time). Nobody there except 1 person at rhe bar. Ordered duble 6" loaves of their shaved garlic loaves. One with just garlic, one with cheese. Usually yummy, almost fully sliced through , crispy crust, withed melted butter and a mountain of thinly shaved garlic all over the top Here's what was served at our table: two loaves arrived with crispy outer crusts, butter basted and a few thinly siced pieces of a single clove of garlic, and, how would I describe the knife? A neanderathal bulky, wide, dull, "serrated" to slice this crusty bread into, what had been, previous slices. Needless, or more imortantly to say, the endeavor to slice these two crispy loaves with a crusty crust but with soft and moist internally, with a dull saw-like knife that was served with it, resulted, despite my efforts to be gentle and saw away, in collapsed bread that went from nice round loaves to thin crust, with maybe a 1/3 to 1/2 inch of collapsed between. So, lets look at this for a moment if your are considering patronizing this place:

  1. the cook did not prepare it properly. It is supposed to be presliced but held together before it goes into the oven for crisping. 2) the expediter is supposed to check that the food coming out of the kitchen meets standards, which it was visually obvious, it did'nt. Finally, the waitress is the final check, and she just snatched it up, the final quality check (see below her response) and delivered it and went about her business. So, having it delivered, unsliced as in the past, but with a "knife" (see above, no way a bread knife) I proceeded to try an slice the two crisp outer loaves with moist insides. Of course I butcheted into the pieces I descrebed above. So, remembering there was only one person at the bar at 5:15 on a Wednesday afternoon, 1)Donminics had a failure of the cook to prepare it properly, 2) the expediter, who is suppose to ensure food items are properly prepared, let it pass, and finally 3) the waitress, (who knew better, see below) mindlessly snatched it up and delivered to the table. So, while the waitress delivered it and then left, here I am butchering these two loaves into semblences of slices. When she finally returned when I was about 3/4"s of butchering both loaves with this dull saw-knife abd I expressed to her that these loaves need to come with a better knife, her response was " I'm sorry, THEY USUALLY COME SLICED." See, while the cook failed, and the expediter failed, she also knew they were not right, Next, we ordered salads. I ordered a simple garden salad. The waitress said "OK." When it came (note "when it came") I asked what were my choice of dressings? At that time I was informed (surprise to me) that it came with creamy italian dressing already on the salad. So, how would I characterize that? I would call it waitress playing "I've got a secret." I know what the salad comes with, but when you ordered I did not see it necessary or effort on my part, to inform you of the default dressings, or to offer you alternative choces." Ok, she knew and I did not, nor was there a conversation of my choices. That's "customer hostile" I've got a secret. Finally, one of my dining companions ordeted a ribeye, medium rare. So, (the quality of the ribeye to follow) the ribeye was about 1/2 thick. Maybe 5" by 12" , it was served over, yes you read it right, over, steamed broccoli florets and 1/4'd roasted, potatoes. Yes, over. And, guess what came with it ? The same dull sae-blade knife that was served with the bread. So, now two problems, on what flat does it rest so you can cut it? And, secondly, how do you cut it with the knife provided? My companion ended up trying to pin it down somewhere on the plate between the steamed broccoli, trying to not shove them off one end of the plate, and the qrartered potatoes off the other end of the plate. Again, the bread knife saw. Not able to cut the fat away, but rather pulling the fat away. Rib eye: 40% meat, fat, 60%. Dine...

Reading the reviews will say a lot about being seated and service.. 10-12 minutes standing without acknowledgement by any staff despite a bar tender tending to 2 men looking at pictures with them about 15 feet away. The wait staff was most enthused to tend to a group of 16 or so ignoring anyone else (they were already eating and drinking). I counted 5 people working besides the kitchen staff. When I initially walked in a slender lady with brown medium/long hair made eye contact and walked away instead of seating me. A bit arrogant in demeanor, kept looking at her white apple watch. 2 other employees made accidental eye contact and quickly looked away and back to the group that were eagerly waited on by all. When I was finally greeted not a single word on how long I had been waiting.

I sat for a while before anyone took my order. I guess the waitress was the same lady tending the bar, short blonde hair lady...After I was brought water, the lady asked if I had been here before. No.. but I did know what I wanted to eat as I had looked at the menu online before walking in. I was brought out bread and a marinara sauce. Unfortunately it looked gross, it appeared to have dried on sauce on the sides and edges of the bowl inside and out. It appeared to be a refilled used dish of sauce.. it had pieces of someone elses bread in it! Regardless if it was a mistake or not, I asked if I could have fresh bowl of sauce brought out instead of whatever that was... the waitress had a bad attitude about it. She seemed very insulted, rolled her eyes like I was a incredible inconvenience and snatched the food up and took off shaking her head saying something about me (the part I could hear was "that's not what this was, it's fresh sause.. I can't believe stupid people like this". At this point I just decided to leave. It's disappointing that this was my first time here. It genuinely looked like the food was off someone elses plate of leftovers. Wish I had a better experience to share on here. My order was not complicated, but never got to see or eat it as the waitresses attitude and decision to talk down about me was genuinely unacceptable. I'm sure she will make excuses as to why anyone would walk out... but it was 1000% having something negative said about me OUTLOUD (loud enough I could hear her) when I had a...

I've been here many times before, but the last time I went there with my family (a table of nine.), will be the last time we will ever go there. We went out to celebrate my mother's birthday, and everything was going just fine. We got our food, and we noticed that my nephew was on the verge of throwing up twice. He was complaining about the chicken in his dish. We though he was being picky the first time, and the second time we thought he was just over-stuffing his mouth. We told him to just eat! We then tasted the chicken to see if anything was wrong, and everyone at the table agreed that the chicken had an off taste compared to the chicken fillet that someone else had ordered. We then told the server that the dish was not good. She spoke to the manger and told us she would take 50% from the two plates ( which seemed weird for a restaurant to do that if the issue came from their side.) But we didn't think much of it, until they brought us the bill. We notice that they had only discounted 25% from three dishes?? The dishes discounted were not the ones that were bad, and the sum of the discount was less than if they had just discounted 50% from the two bad dishes. We then called over the server, and as we were trying to explain to her the issue, the manager walked by and told us "it's simple math people...." And sucked her teeth at us. I forgot what else she said, but she insulted our intelligence. She left, we asked our server to please call over the manager so what we can explain the issue. The manager came over and before we even had the chance to explain, she threatened to call the police on us. We got angry at her, and she continued by telling us that she did not have time to fix the issue. We never said we were not going to pay, so I do not know why she threatened us with the police. We were a Latino family, so maybe she was not comfortable with us? At the end of it, my youngest brother spoke with her separately and explained to her that her math was wrong. She finally saw that she was wrong. She caused a very uncomfortable setting not only for us, but for everyone else eating in the restaurant. Worst restaurant experience we have had in a...
