America's Best Wings — Restaurant in Norfolk

My family bought me a veggie burrito while they were out because they read what was included and there were no ingredients listed that I do not eat as a vegan. When I opened the container, I saw a white sauce and I wanted to figure out what it was because it raised red flags as having milk in it, and I’m lactose-intolerant. I looked online for what was on the menu because I wanted to see if it was still salvageable if I moved what contents did not have the sauce to a new tortilla and it also contained no mention of any sauce. I then decided to call the place to figure it out, and when I called there was no response on the other side after I said “hello” multiple times and I was placed on hold, which really meant the phone was set down while they dealt with other customers. When someone finally did pick up and I asked about the veggie burrito contents, I was told that it was Halal, which had nothing to do with the mysterious white sauce, and then I was told that it was mayo, and this definitely did not look like mayo, so I asked if it contained egg or milk, and they repeated that the burrito sauce was mayo. I asked what the sauce was made from, and then the person on the other line hung up. Not only did this experience ruin a meal, but they made no moves to correct it and when I explained my dietary restrictions given that the menu indicates everything except the sauce included, they were dismissed. Over the past year, I have been a loyal customer of this establishment, frequently ordering their delicious wings. Generally, the quality of their wings has been exceptional, and they have consistently met or exceeded my expectations. However, recent experiences have compelled me to raise some concerns. Lately, I have observed that the drum wings I've ordered have been unusually tough to chew, causing discomfort to myself and others in my household. Despite my initial reluctance to address this issue due to the establishment's stellar track record, the increasing discomfort has prompted me to provide this feedback. It seems as though the drum wings may be cooked too long, resulting in meat that is difficult to eat, mainly when it is not crispy. In contrast, the flat wings remain tender and satisfying.

In addition to the change in texture, I've noticed that the extra seasoning I request doesn't seem to impart the same extra reasoned level of flavor as it did in the past. This isn't very pleasant, as the extra seasoning has always been a highlight of my previous orders. First time going to this location. As soon as I opened the door I knew I was in the right place. The smell of cleanliness lit up my whole body. I pre ordered my food online with no problems. I had to wait a few minutes on my order which I didn’t mine because it smelled so good from the cleaning products they used. I do apologize the young man was making conversation with me, it was hard to understand him but the smile behind whatever he was trying to say, I can tell it was genuine. Another employee came out to put the soda/ lemonade machine together. When I saw him doing that I can tell he cleaned the washers and other components to soda machine. That made me happy being in the medical field. So I ordered 50 wings for my co workers, ugh I was only able to get one lemon pepper but that one freaking wings was the bomb!
