For one , when we got there we waited 30 minutes to be seated in an half empty restaurant. After letting it be known that we had been waiting for so long, the host told us we can be seated but its going to be a "bit of a wait" for service. After being seated we waited an additional HOUR before I approached the kitchen to alert them that we hadn't even been approached by a waitress for our drink orders. Mind you, there was a group of probably 25-30 people who had already been there waiting for their food. They appeared to be fed up after a while and left, unfed and unsatisfied .My assumption is, the small staff on shift wasn't expecting a party THAT SIZE at THAT TIME of the night. After seeing the party leave, my friend and I decided to stay, thinking our service would be alot faster now that the party of people had left. Unfortunately, there was only one waitress on duty and a host and server who were working off the clock to help the server who was working alone. After getting our orders finally taken by the off-shift waitress (an hour and a half after arriving) , we received our food fairly quickly . My friends food was cold and my omelet was missing the avocado I asked for. Me being so hungry at that point, I let the avocado slide. After going for my second bite, I realized there was BACON in my omelet. I am a vegetarian of almost 3 years and I didn't ask for bacon. Had I continuously ate that omelet and not noticed the bacon inside, I would've gotten very sick. After seeing the bacon me and my friend, 2 bites in, got up and left. That was the last straw and I was Furious. Worst service ever and its not the waitresses fault, they tried their best with the little staffing they had. It's the hiring managers fault for not ensuring that there were enough employees to cover the shift and the cooks fault (who seem to be taking continuous smoke breaks) for not ensuring food was cooked properly. Because it was 3 am, nothing else was open and me and my friend went to bed hungry that night. Never will I eat at that...
Read moreThis IHOP has gone down in customer service and upkeep. When my husband and I arrived to this location, there were homeless people loitering outside the front door entrance. When my husband and I entered the building, the interior tile floor of the entrance way smelled like urine! My husband and I waited at the front lobby desk to be seated by an IHOP personnel. When she approached us to seat us at a table, I immediately told her that the front lobby tile floor "smells like urine ". This staff member replied, "I am not surprised of that, but I will tell someone about that because that is above my pay grade." Then she proceeded to walk us to a booth table. She came back shortly to introduce herself as our waitress and took our food and beverage orders. This waitress name was "Tammy ". My husband was very uncomfortable and disgusted by the smell of this restaurant establishment and by the appearance of our waitress. Tammy, our waitress, was wearing a dirty stained red IHOP uniform top and dirty black apron and black pants! She had dirty fingernails and smelled like body odor. I don't know when her shift began, but it was 645am when my husband and I arrived at IHOP to eat breakfast. Tammy was already super dirty or super messy that early in the morning! Also, when my husband and I requested some hot syrup, Tammy replied, "we stopped serving hot syrup 8 months ago." Needless to say, my husband and I were very disappointed with that fact. We had to eat our pancakes with cold syrup!😕😡 This is the last time that we will be eating at this IHOP location! We will NEVER...
Read moreThey have a sign on the table that says get free pancakes when you sign up for their club. So I went through the process of signing up only to find out you don't actually get free pancakes WHEN you sign up, you get them on your next visit. As I was looking at the menu seeing the prices have tripled in the last few years I was concerned. Thankfully I saw on the website that there is a $6 menu that includes several $12-$15 meals. I started flipping through the menu looking for those items and couldn't find them. I asked my waitress about it and she walked over to the stand where she got my original menus and grabbed different menus and brought them over. I asked, were you planning to offer those menus to us had I not asked you for them? "No, we aren't supposed to let customers see them unless they request it". WHAT?!? So apparently IHOP was going to charge me double to triple the price because I didn't know that they had a special hidden menu that I needed to ask for. Between that and the sticky floors in the entire restaurant that almost tore the shoes from your feet as you tried to cross the floor... I...
