McDonald's — Restaurant in Norfolk

By far the worst experience ever. Placed an order through the mobile app for a deal that included a Chicken sandwich, a M fry and a M sprite for $6. After tax it was $6.75. I pay through the app which tells me to proceed to the store. when i get to the store, i go to the drive thru, explain I have a mobile order and give my code. She explains to either stop at the first window if i need a receipt or go to the second window if i don’t. I proceed to the second window. As I’m driving past the 1st, I’m stopped. The woman tells me i owe an additional 3+ dollars. I explain the deal i had on the app. She confirms she sees the deal, sees my payment however her system is requesting additional funds. I explain myself again. She proceeds to get assistance from a “manager.” The manager comes and doesn’t even really listen just says i owe more. I explain myself for a 3rd time. She says the app and the store are different. (Which makes no sense) She says she won’t make the food unless i pay the additional funds or she has to call a supervisor. (I thought she was the supervisor) i tell her to call. She calls and comes back and tells me the supervisor stated my card declined and i owed the remaining. That makes absolutely no sense. If my card declined, the app would’ve told me that, and it wouldn’t have allowed for the order to go through. I explain this to her. She’s still staying it declined and i owe. I ask if she wants to see my bank statement where the funds clearly came out of my account. She says no, i said why that’s my proof? She says “i never said your card declined.” Now I’m very confused. At this point I’m annoyed. I was on a 15 min break from work, and have now been at McDonald’s for over 20 min for a $3 balance i shouldn’t have to pay. I ask for my money back. She explains i have to go through the app since that’s where i places the order. I say that’s unacceptable. She says, “i don’t have time for this” and slams the window. Now I’m livid. I go around to try and handle my issue inside when i see the inside is closed. I go back through the drive thru, this is when a sensible employee comes out with my food and apologizes for the inconvenience. I thank her and leave. HOWEVER the entire situation was uncalled for. The disrespect i received from the “manager” was crazy. All this over a $6 chicken sandwich meal that I already paid for. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. The “manager” failed at listening, problem solving, people skills and much more. I will never return to this location. Hire better people. Hire sensible people. The only one who had sense was the woman who brought the food out to me. Just all around a...

If i could i wouldnt give this places no starts !! This places is really bad . if you dont got to go to this McDonald's dont !! Every time i go they dont put all my order in my bag that i payed for and the manager will argue with you about what sauces you got and tell you that you didnt ask for sauces went its on your receipt . if you go throw drive thur you dont get all your food or they will park you and make you sit outside in the heat for 30 minutes. This places is just horrible. One of the worst mcdonalds i and my family has ever went to .. This mcdonalds needs to get thier stuff together .. If i didnt live close to this mcdonalds i wouldnt go thier no more !! I dont understand why they cant get thier stuff right . they have a full staff dont make no cents and the manager are not very nices and some of the crew is very ruded ... Yall need to get it together or hire new staff because the crew you got now is very horrible!! All i ask for is to be treated nicely and get my order right and put all my order i paid for in my bag . i know we make mistakes but man every time come on now !! This mcdonalds owers really need to get this places in oeder .. Worst and most horrible...

I am currently at the McDonald's on military and VA beach Blvd. I must say this is a horrible experience for not only me but my daughter I order at 5:46 pm just her normal happy meal with chicken nuggets and fries with yogurt. I checked on it at 6:05 because I started notice people after me a lot after me sitting and eating. I asked the associate is there a issue with her food. I get back a rude and anoxous you waiting on the fries. Wow... I continue to wait and my daughter kept saying the hungry she ready to eat so I checked on it at 6:28 I was going to leave but she really wants to eat here and play with the kids. I went there Jennifer (pink shirt) gave me several nasty looks then proceeded to just now pick up a happy meal box. The other associate helped me with my food still took another 7 mins but I got it. Shame on Jennifer and her evil ways and the sad part about it it's for my daughter a 6 yr old beautiful kind-hearted little girl. Never had previously contact with this lady to cause such poor and disrespectful service. Sky God bless her heart she refusely apologies for Disrespectful Jennifer (pink shirt).
