Dined Tuesday 7/1/25 from 9:30p-10:45pm. Appeared to be short staffed as many tables were dirty with trays still on them during the entire dining experience (despite being maybe 25-50% full of customers). Server was taking care of maybe 2 other tables around us. One of the tables was asking where the server was as they also experienced very slow service as I did. A very large group of people that came in shortly after me were fed and given checks and left while my partner and I were left waiting. It felt disciminating because I know larger groups pay more gratuity but I don't think that should mean a party of two is inferior in any way. My complaint revolving the food is that I ordered salt and vinegar wedges and a couple of them were just covered in dry rub and majority were bare. I tried scraping off the excess to eat the overseasoned wedges but they were just not salvageable. My partner and I were wondering where to find wet napkins as other BWW like in Bloomington typically provide them when we order bbq wings. He found them up front as our server was nowhere to be seen majority of the time. I didn't raise complaints as I figured I would just do so through their survey. I scanned the QR code but couldn't fill out until later. I tried getting access again but was unable and I no longer have the receipt to scan and complain through the website so here I am. I rarely go to this location in Normal and now I have more reason to stay away. It's on university campus which could probably get away with mistreating the college student population as most are leaving town and don't bother to raise issues. I felt it my due diligence as a local townie to make my issues known. This experience was just not appreciated after a hard 12 hour shift and my car breaking down making me unable to drive home. Read more(Posted this review fir both locations, although Normal got less stars) Love BWW, but the ones here in town fall short sometimes. At either location, Bloomington and Normal, they are usually messing stuff up, and have a slurry of young staff who either forget or mess up your order, or have bad attitudes. Some of the staff is good, but a lot of them seem to not understand good customer service. The bloomington one is def better than the normal one. The normal one has given me the wrong order several times through pick up, and then when I returned to have it fixed, the college students working treated me with hostility like I was lying to them when I even had the email receipt for my order. I have to get my boyfriend to eat here, since they've messed up his order so many times he doesn't even want to try coming here. When dining in at either location the waiters busy or not act like you're bothering them, and they always seem to forget something, not to mention I've only had one or two waiters at either location that actually checked in with us and stayed on top of refills. Oh and I would like to add that for this location, the young staff at the front is usually standing around staring at you making you uncomfortable or goofing off when they should be working. They stand around on there phones and wait for you to interupt to help you, several times I've been here and they had friends standing around at the counter hanging out with them when they were working and there friends do not work there, and they stand around and stare and point and talk...
Read moreI would not have given the store any stars but I had to just to complete this review. I placed an order for well done wings got them home only to find that they were NOT well done. I called the store spoke to Mike who was willing to replace the wings but after a long day I just didn't want to drive across town so I let it go. My BF decided that he would go for me so I called back because I was still hungry only to speak with THE RUDEST customer service/cashier that I have ever talked to. Told me they got rubbery in the box on my ride home I tried to explain her I was a mgr at wing stop for years and well done wings don't get rubbery in the box she kept cutting me off...then said "Um not to cut u off...but yeah they do" But I was cut off, yelled at me and hung up on . I didn't catch her name but she needs a serious customer service training. I tried BBW tonight bcuz I had a gift certificate. I was even happy with the flavors I got and made a comment in the car after taking a fingertip sample in the car(they were dry rubs) I had told my friend with me that B Dub may get some of my business cuz I liked the flavors I chose so much....until that rude girl on the phone ..BWW gained nand lost my business in...
