Update Aug 2025 We have been super loyal to this place but I had to come back and drop it down a star because they're messy. My husband waited in like for 15 mins while people ordered ahead of him despite the fact that our take out ordered was sitting on the counter within reach. They need a separate line/area/person for that. We shouldn't have to wait for an order we placed ahead of time. After all that waiting they didn't give us one of the items we ordered. I called back immediately and asked for a refund and they said they'd apply it but it would "take a while" called back again a week later and they said they'd apply it. Four days later and I still haven't been refunded for food I didn't receive. Pretty uncool. It will be a while before we're back. I am so happy this place exists in town. The sushi is really lovely and the price is so ridiculously reasonable. I got everything in the photo for less than $30. I've gotten takeout from them no less than four times in the past two months. They're everything I wish La Bamba would be especially the online ordering and customization options. As a vegetarian, I appreciate how many options there are. Truly awesome. I hope they...
Read moreI really would love for a good sushi place in town to stick around! The ingredients are great and the food is fresh! I ordered pick up. Ordering via toast was a good experience and my food was ready on time. I go into the restaurant and see my food on the table next to 2 employees behind the table and no other customers. They didn't say anything so I grab my food and walk to the door and then they pretty nicely yelled for me to come back and sign. Just odd I wasn't acknowledged before! I know that's picky but I'm shy and it's a new place so idk whats going on. Anyways, I got the 3 sushi roll deal. Amazing prices for sushi! But I was pretty underwhelmed with the presentation once I got it home. I'm definitely picky about my sushi. I would be happy to see more precise measures taken with packaging the rolls separately. So hot isn't with cold, and so top sauces aren't mixing. Perhaps it is a difference in cultural, or just simply a preference thing, But I like sushi that comes a little more bite size. I felt like I was struggling to get sushi in my soy sauce...
Read moreMy daughter and I decided to give the place a try after a co worker recommended it. The cashier was very polite and made recommendations on things we should try. We went with the Las Vegas roll, miso soup, edamame and spring rolls. The Las Vegas rolls were ok but I think because they were fried it kind of threw us off. The miso was very flavorful however once the tofu melted it changed the flavor. You can't mess up edamame however it's served in the shell and it seemed like the salt fell over on it so I had to spend time deshelling. The spring rolls were absolutely horrible. They couldn't have been freshly made. The crunch was perfect but the inside was mushy as if they had been frozen, completely unthawed and then cooked. Even then I probably would've tried them again because the regular sushi did look good; however because of the poor customer service from I'm assuming the head waitress and the fact that both of our orders were served on one plate I won't be returning. We ate a total of maybe 4 pieces of sushi, half a spring roll and had to come...
