We never considered this restaurant until reading a recent article about it. We always thought it was a diner like in LeRoy. Their menu interested us.

Food was good. Not great, but definitely good. No complaints there.

Service is really lacking. Our server seemed very....confused is the only word I can think of. It took quite awhile for him to come to our table for the first time and when he did he seemed confused. He warned us kitchen got slammed. We were in no hurry so didn't mind. We put in an appetizer & dinner order. It took over 45 minutes to get our dinner. I'd rule it out to being his warning except that the 4some on one side of us & 2some on the other who came in after us got their food before us. In fact, the 4some finished their dinner & were paying the check before we got our dinner. After dinner, we ordered desserts. One came out (after another long wait) correctly. The other was a totally wrong order. We had to wait again for the second one to be corrected. Luckily, my wife and I planned to share the desserts & it worked out.

Finally a new and different type of cuisine and restaurant for Bloomington Normal that cooks food with love and care!

This is a pretty decent middle eastern restaurant that offers REAL variety of delicious and healthy options (often not an easy combination to find) on its menu.

You know what I mean by "real" variety if you have been to places with 27 choices on menu that are indeed just 3 things with different sauces.

They have been open for a only month and I hope their business flourishes. Today was my 2nd (take out) visit here and I got grilled octopus and a bison burger for my kid and they were both great and my kid loved her burger a lot much better than the one I cooked for her at home :)

They also have couple of lamb dishes including lamb kababs. The only thing I wish they add is ground lamb kabab (with no beef added to the mix of course) as my kid loves it whenever we go to a restaurant in Peoria and if they have it here in town that would mean less trips for...
