It's McDonald's. I would never expect anything decent but this place seems to continue to blow my mind on how horrible they can be.
Service here ranges from "we're not serving food right now" to rushing food, unable to follow simple instructions, horrific communication, doesn't listen to customers, overcooks and/or burns food. Seems to think that "well done" fries means they put old, cold ones back in the fryer and serves them to you, giving rock hard shells of what used to be a French fry. "please cook to order" apparently means "cook a few extra nuggets fresh then mix them up with old ones". They also refuse to use your codes for special offerings, then just tell you "oh it already went through" without ever listening. Despite the fact that they ask "are you using your mobile app today?" answering yes is pointless.
My kid loves McDonald's but they have ARFID and AuDHD. It's a nightmare trying to deal with this.
And if you bring things back, it's like pulling teeth to get them to fix it and even THEN they STILL don't get it right. This is a 24hr location which is never capable of operating even 16hr it seems. That feels generous..

As soon as I realized the error I called the store and spoke with Shonda who screamed at me, told me not to call again, and threatened to call the police if I called back before I could even get a word out (I guess she thought it was a prank call?) I called back and was finally able to speak with someone, I explained the situation and asked if they could cancel the order since I did not have the option on my app and the employee rudely stated they aren’t going to do it and to call the 800 number. The customer service line stated I would be receiving a call or email from the owner/operator of this location and I have not. This was Friday and I have not received so much as a call from the owner in regards to my $40 order, which I also didn’t get as it got sent to a store in a completely different state (I live in MO). Read moreTried the McD App to order and then went to the designated pickup spot. Used the app to say I am here. App said it will be 5 min. OK... 5 min, 10 min... I can see their busy, I am on a late lunch break, so have some time - no big deal. 15 min mark - here comes my lunch... But no- it was of the car next to me that just showed up less than 5 min ago. Talked to a young man and told him what I am waiting for. 20 min mark, no action; 23 min mark - now my break is over, I have to leave to -no food, but they were able to bill me. I would have expected someone to notice a car in the pickup spot for 20+ min, I would have expected the young lad to make a point of bringing out part of my order (drink?) if the other was backed up (it was just a burger and fries). I rarely post negative reviews, but this one had to be shared. Stick to the drive up window.
