My friend and I went in to try it because Hey new Ice cream place! But my friend has a service animal and they refused us service because of the dog. At first we thought they just didn’t see the service animal vest but even after we told her he was a service animal they refused us saying his fur was going to get into the ice cream. First off there was a glass divider separating us and the ice cream. Second they can not legally deny a service dog entry. And third by that logic, if they were that worried about hair getting into the ice cream then maybe they should be wearing hairnets. All in all it was a very disrespectful experience and we are now enjoying our ice cream at our usual place, The Baked Bear. I came in town after 7 years to visit the aging parent of my college roommate, and that was nice, but this place was the highlight of my trip! The scoops were huge!! Every weekend we come as a family for sweet treats. Sweet Sips and Treats never serves disappointments. Great atmosphere and service. I highly recommend!! So many options to choose from but I’m hooked on the campfire which is served with Dutch chocolate ice cream topped with chocolate drizzle , roasted marshmallow and graham cracker and the rim is trimmed with marshmallows!!
