Edit: I appreciate the frank response by the business owner. I certainly don't intend to pin a negative review for something done unintentionally, hence bumping up the total stars to 4. Of added context, we were seated for several minutes without the menu, so we verbally ordered the rodizio without seeing the menu. This indication isn't shown on the menu on the website either. Additionally, none of my party has seen the signs regarding the 4% at the venue. Perhaps we were enjoying our time too much - which is exactly why we chose Brazeiro - to not notice the signs, wherever they were placed under the dark red lighting. Lastly, the structure of the receipt from the new POS is definitely misleading if customers are not clearly notified of the fee in advance. I would highly appreciate it if customers are made aware of the surcharge by the servers at the time of ordering to avoid any confusion when done enjoying their time and paying the check. Thanks again for the quick response. I look forward to the live music coming back again. ----------------------------------------------------------------- I've visited Brazeiro for 5+ years since pre-pandemic. I always loved the service, the friendliness of all staff and the warm atmosphere (especially when they had live music weekends). However, this review is based on my recent observation of how they charge the bill. They have two separate pricing, one for card price and the other for cash. I'm not sure if they always prepared the check this way since I only realized it this time when I got home. With these two price options, you would think that by paying cash, you are getting a discount as an added bonus, but if you don't have cash, you just pay for what you consumed. This isn't too surprising since there are a number of businesses that give you cash discounts. I should have looked closer. Cash price is the actual price of the dinner without any discount, and they ADD A 4% SURCHARGE ON TOP OF WHAT YOU CONSUMED if you're paying with plastic. It's my fault for not taking a closer look before paying, but this is malicious practice. We've NEVER BEEN NOTIFIED once during our visit that we'd need to pay an additional fee based on our method of payment. Had they done so, it would have been understandable. When it comes to my expectations of a restaurant, I care less if the quality of food or service fluctuates from time to time, but it frustrates me to see how a restaurant silently deceives their customers for petty gains. Sadly, I will not be returning to a restaurant that I've frequented for many years, so as not to support their dishonest practice.

Best Brazilian Steakhouse in whole NJ! And I have been in many including the expensive franchise I.e. Fogo do Chao in Cali, NY and NJ. This is 100% Brazilian Gaucho Churrascaria and owned by a Porto Alegre family. This is not a franchise so you will eat fresh and delicious food and have the best service ever. They have 3 locations in NJ and all run by the owners which are always onsite. Their 3rd restaurante opened in Cliffside Park almost a year ago… We moved to Fair Lawn when we heard the news, but food is so good that we don't mind driving. Perfect place to celebrate family events or create new memories, they can accommodate big parties or just a date night with your partner. They take reservations, but last minute walk-ins are always welcomed. Portions are big and prices are fair, you will leave this place satisfied and with a smile on your face! They have a nice ambiance and they have happy hours with refreshing caipirinhas! And if you are a wine enthusiast, then this place is for you! They have the best wine selection, not for nothing they won the 2023 Award of Excellence for their wine listing!

This Churrascaria is such an amazing place. The service was amazing and the food was great as well. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were approached by the hostess who took us to our table. If it’s your first time in this place they will explain everything in details. I went for the “Rodizio Experience” is $49 or $50. You have access to the salad bar, soup, rice, and more (it’s unlimited). They walk around with different type of meet and you get to eat as much as you want. This experience comes with free dessert as well. If you are feeling full, they do recommend a piece of pineapple with cinnamon (it’s great) this helps. I was in a party of 5 for a birthday celebration. They kindly sang and celebrate the birthday person and gave us complementary glass of wine. For dessert we decided “tres leches” this was great. Overall, I’m very happy with this place to be my first time. The service was amazing and the people is what made our time there very pleasant. Definitely try it out.

They’ve got great outdoor seating area during covid time. Good value if you are carnivore eater. We got combo for 2 with beef ribs, sausage and chicken drumstick that come with 3 sides- fried yuka, grill vegetable and house salad. Never really want to do the buffet option with bottomless meat. Since the rotating meat skewer seems overcooked to my preference. Appetizer we tried something funky, grilled chicken heart. Pretty nutty earthy tasty and chewy texture goes well with drinks. My cucumber St. Germain vodka was delicious. And can’t go wrong with upgrading to the $9 large jug Bluemoon. Service was attentive and friendly. Only thing they can improve on is the grill veggie. They are more boiled than grilled. Tasteless... no seasoning. Grill zucchini and carrot suppose to be super tasty. if they have better grilled veggie it would been a perfect meal.

Had my birthday here and they were accommodating. Food was great and choices were plentiful. The picancha was my favorite as it was soft and delicious. Overall a great dinner choice for everyone.
