I don't remember ever being so disappointed leaving a restaurant as I was tonight! I recently moved to this area and at first fell in love with Cleveland draft house. I've gone with my husband, our motorcycle riding group, my kids and even enjoyed the patio with 2 of our dogs. I took my bridal party there for dinner 2 months ago and then my family 2 nights before our wedding when they flew in town from Ohio. Until this evening, I loved this place and felt like a valued customer here. This evening my husband and I went. We got our drinks right away and even ordered or appetizer right away. 10 min later.....my husband had to start waving his menu in the air just to get attention of our waitress so that we could order. This "waving" lasted 2-3 min with even the couple playing pool behind us waving their pool sticks. As the waitress started taking our order, the appetizer finally came out..... And it was wrong. She sent it back as she immediately noticed the mistake. She finished taking our order and a couple minuets later, my hubby started the timer in his phone. 12 min later..... Our cheese fries were redelivered...... Fries DO NOT take 12 min to cook 20 min later.... We had to wave down someone for water and refills. 25 min later..... Our food arrived.... Incorrect again. I had ordered a French dip wrap with sweet potato fries ....I got a sandwich on thick French bread. Yes, they offered to remake the wrap but I declined as I didn't want to wait another 10-25 min for my meal. As I started to eat, I realized that my fries were not only overcooked, but they were cold and The aujou sauce was salty as heck! I waved someone down and explained that I just didn't want it at this point and wanted to take it off. She said she had to get manager. A man came over, he was a little cold in his customer service and came with his shields already up. Yes, he said he would take the meal off, but refused to accept blame for the poor, slow service and incorrect order taking, not once, but twice. It was MY fault because I didn't let them remake it. Really? Should I have to send everything back? No! As he walked away, he stopped and spoke to another table who turned and looked at us. Did he stop and "gossip" about the couple who has the nerve to complain? I'll never know. This man told my husband that he was the owner and this is his he acts? I do know that I'll never go back here again. Do they care about one customer? Probably not, generally things have been good here but it's sad how one visit can...

Looking for a unique place that caters to all people, young and old, smoking and non-smoking, sports enthusiast or non..we are here for you!
Those are the words directly from the Cleveland Draft House web sight.
After a fun evening with my husband at the RItz, (where minors are welcome) we decided to stop by The Draft House for a beer and a couple games of pool. The place was almost empty when we arrived around 12:15. I hadn't seen my oldest son in a few days as he had been working late hours so I texted him and suggested when he got off work he should stop by and shoot a couple games of pool with us. I had had a couple of beers and figured if I had another one he could drive us home. He said he just got off work and he and couple of his friends were gonna stop by. He arrived at 1:15. My husband and I were the only patrons in the restaurant by this time. The boys came into the restaurant, but the security officer stopped them short of reaching our pool table and told them they would have to leave because they were under 21 (the boys are 19 almost 20 year-olds) I told the security office my son was our ride home. The boys were asked to leave. My husband spoke with our waitress and asked her to speak to the manager. There was nobody in restaurant but us and the boys would be supervised. She came back and said they could not stay. We asked why and she said that if other adults came in and saw a bunch of minors, they (other patrons) would not stay. (ageism the stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination against people on the basis of their age) I was offended, but remained silent. Today, I feel really insulted.. I checked the website and did not see anything saying minors were not allowed in the restaurant after a specific time. I didn't notice a posted sign either, but we did come in the side door. We had a designated driver and he was turned away because he was under 21. That in itself raises all kinds of issues. Our family of six has been to Cleveland Draft house several times. My four minors had enjoyed good food, music and pool. But after this experience, we will never return. And we will share with our friends our experience so they can make informed choices about where they choose to spend their money with...

Been meaning to try this place for some time, but the smoke kept me away. That should have been my tip off. The smoke is gone now, so I gave it a try.
The service is very good. This concludes the "pro's" part of my review.
I tried the chicken parm, as their is none in glorious Johnston county. There still isn't.
The size of the chicken slice was good, it was a big piece.
The sauce....sauce on this dish should be on the thin side, and very spicy. Theirs was thick, and very plain.
Breading, is very nice on chicken parm...this place should try to get some. There was none. I should have just ordered a piece of chicken, room temp, with mayonaise, it would have been better. The linguinie was ok.
Two things that make me angry: THE WIFI WAS NOT WORKING. I got an IP, but no page loading. They couldn't fix it. I have seen this problem in places that are too cheap to get good internet. Free wifi, is no good, if it's crap wifi.
Another, and this is REALLY bad, as this place has been here for SOME TIME. I'm 5'10. Really, I am. My mother had me tested.
So, why, when I sit down in the both, is the table five, six inches too high? So I can eat my food like a five year old?
Really, a short person would have to ask for a high chair at this place! NOT ACCEPTABLE. Other eating establishments seem to have solved this problem. Now, I can see, in some situations, where a table that is high enough, to accomodate you, and your girlfriend, sitting on your lap, and her girlfriend sittin on hers, would be a good thing, but this is not that kind of place, right?
This is the kind of place, where you bring your kids for a party, so you don't care, or meet some friends and get drunk, so you don't care, or bring your kids and get drunk, so you don't care.
No way I'm spending money on a steak here. ...
