Now the menu sound amazing and well thought out in description of the food. With reviewing all of the places this was by far the better looking one. Got to the place super small and you must come early to get a table quickly. Now the price shows in the portion size but no way shape or form the food is any good. Wife’s food was soggy and bland, my daughter’s food was over cooked chicken with the pasta and my steak was tough and dry. The host was nice and helpful. The was man with no hair who went around the place as if every was at his house, you could tell he worked there a long time based on his order taking book was very worn. We wished he was our server but no we had the bar back Ashley (I think) dark tan long hair there was another person I think named Olivia. Ashley went down the line getting drinks and she got to us. We said we know everything we want instead of saying could you just give drink order she passed us and got another person drink order. We waited an hour for our food to come out. I could see inside of the kitchen and there was a small black hair guy was over worked as a large man kept giving directions maybe helping. Sweat was running so badly down their face. One server came out of the kitchen eating food as we were waiting for our food. Now they open at 5 so do you think you should have eaten before work? My wife took her first bite of this amazing grilled chicken and it was bad. I gave back to Ashley and said low that it was soggy and bland. She said what I told her again. She said so you want another one? No why would I want poorly made food again? I said no and she rolled her eyes. No manager or the chief came over to apologize. Now when she brought our check she reluctantly she sorry about the food as if that was going to get a bigger tip. I tip 30% but could not reward bad service but did tip 15% so she can pay her bills. I did not dare tell her the other over priced food was bad so we took it home to our dogs to eat, but they did not! I shared quickly with the host and she said sorry she a bar back. So it’s ok to give crappie service and serve bad food. So if you have no pallet and like to eat a lot please please get the guy with no hair.

Was here on the last few days of our honeymoon. Had to go here twice, it's that good!! First night: The Missus had the tenderloin pork over homemade mashed and smothered in caramelized Granny Smith apples and toasted pecans. I started with a most delicious, plentiful tuna tartar apertizer. Then I had the seafood trio over pasta....shrimp, sea scallops, and lots of lump crab meat and fresh pecorino Romano cheese. Mmmmmm.......soooooo good!!! Pam waited on us and was super friendly and helpful. Portions are good sized, too. Everything very tasty and well prepared. 2nd evening: the Missus had the same dish but substituted with tender chicken breasts. She loved the dish! Both nights we started with a couple cocktails. I had well-made dirty martinis and she had a Lemon Drop the first night; and a Key Lime Martini the second night. Neil waited on us the second night. Prices were good and the parking plentiful. Nice relaxed, atmosphere overlooking the marina and ocean. You can see some wonderful sunsets here and it didn't disappoint us the first visit. The setting is perfect. Seems the locals patronize this fine establishment, too. Dress casual/shore-like comfortable. Not far from the ferry also. Folks, you've got to try this one! BTW: this is a second floor restaurant.

Dinky’s was recommended by a local and we couldn’t have been happier. It looks like a hole in the wall - you can feel free to show up in your tshirt and flip flops - but it’s a really fabulous meal (at nice meal prices $$$ that they deserve). We started with sharing a cup of the lobster bisque and a spinach salad. Both were really good. For meals we had the Gorgonzola chicken and the roast duck. Both were excellent. Portions were so big and rich that we stuffed ourselves and when we were done our plates looked as if they hadn’t been touched! We’re looking forward to getting at least 2 more meals out of them. Customer service was excellent from the hostess to the server. Our server was so friendly and she made great recommendations. When packing up the leftovers we asked for extra sauce since reheated food is often dry - not only did she get us a container of sauce for each but it turns out that the Gorgonzola sauce is made with the order so the chef actually had to whip some up specifically for our leftovers! That’s customer service. Sunset over the sound is of course a highlight as well.

Staff was quick and courteous, drinks were never empty and presentation was beautiful. Unfortunately the portion sizes were not uniform. We had 3 people order the seafood platter, simply because variety is a good way to determine if the food is worthy of returning. On 2 of the 3 platters, the crab cakes were undercooked and we had different fish portions on all 3 as well along with 2 different types of fish, 2 platters had grouper while 3rd had a mix of mahi-mahi and grouper. Crab cakes were okay but not the best regarding flavor but did have real crab, fried shrimp was over cooked and the shrimp was tough, scallops were very good but a little greasy so again could use some improvement, menu was smaller then expected so if you are looking for a blackened tuna steak, best to look elsewhere. Lobster bisque was also a little thinner then I prefer but good flavor. We ordered pizza for the kids and it was also a little greasy but presented well, just didn't hold up well for the children. Most of the meals were $20 and up but average was really $30 and even the kids menu was $9 and 20% gratuity for parties over 7, just to be aware. Beautiful views of the marina. All things considered I personally will not...
