3/25 Update - Just returned from there and it is no longer our automatic go-to place. It has been very hit and miss, with mostly misses the past several times we have eaten there. It is to the point that KBJ is now a last resort location. And it is a no-go if the place is crowded, because your time spent in the restaurant is going to be doubled, even though you are seated as soon as you arrive. SERVICE: The new 5 minute long intro with the drink specials that we have no interest in starts to get old after a while. Several of our trips have had REALLY SLOW service. I'm not hard on the staff, because I don't know what is going on in their lives or behind the scene, but management walking around checking on tables once in a while would should be a breath of fresh air. Yes the drink glasses could possibly hold a gallon of drink, but when they are empty, a cup that big is a pretty big red flag when empty that can be spotted a mile away. FOOD: I tried the Cajun Chicken Sandwich tonight and it is about as cajun as an unseasoned, unflavored, unanything chicken breast. Try some Texas Pete, black pepper, something! Even ketchup would probably liven that sandwich up. Not impressed at all. And to top it off, the chicken breast was small, thin, and dry. They also haven't changed up their menu, so we are starting to get tired of the "same old same old". ATMOSPHERE: The outside area that we were sitting was crazy loud due to two large parties and lots of alcohol. Again, steer clear of this place on a game or busy night unless you are looking for that type of atmosphere. So again, not horrible, but not the gem that we thought we had 7 months ago.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Went with family and found our new local favorite. All of the food was great, large portioned, and reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly and the service was fast. Our only dilemma was the vast amount of good looking food on the menu. We will be back soon to try the dishes we passed on. Glad we are finally getting new dining options in...
Read moreWe swore never to return to this place 9 months ago. We gave it another try. Came in at 11:30pm, and place was nearly empty. More employees than customers for sure.
Ended up with Heather as our server. She was inattentive towards us and her one other table. Couldn't be bothered to do her job rather than be on her phone texting on the floor. It wasn't one text. It was every 20 seconds when she'd pull out her phone and stop whatever she was doing and text.
My food was cold. Had to send it back. Had to ask another server to get her because she was too busy texting. Strange how with an empty restaurant, our meal took 30 minutes to come out, and when it did, it was cold. Wonder who dropped the ball there? Bet it wasn't the kitchen staff.
Honestly, she doesn't get all the blame. I cant believe the management or lack thereof let's this activity take place.
Heather was upset and rolled her eyes after she saw her other table didn't leave a tip. We heard them audibly complaining, calling it the worst service ever. Well, she got a .46 cent tip from us, only because we paid cash so we didn't have to wait 20 more minutes for a pause in her text conversation so we can get our change.
I included a picture of her sitting at an empty table texting, rather than doing her job. I may have to apply at this restaurant... I'd love to get paid to sit around and text on a...
Read moreA very nice brand new sports bar. Very large, can handle a lot of people. TV's everywhere. Friendly staff. Great service. Good food. **There are 2 issues they need to address. #1, we ordered grilled, bone in, chicken wings. These were tasty but the absolute smallest wings I have ever been served in my life. I was a bit stunned. If I were in a grocery store and saw a bag of these, no way I'd buy them. #2, They serve alcoholic drinks in a small bucket. Cool idea. You can keep the cheap plastic bucket. When we left, my wife had the bucket re-filled with water & ice. You can't walk around with an open container and alcohol. We are not stupid. Well, the manager dude chased my wife down the sidewalk outside when we left and politely asked her if he could rinse out her bucket? She immediately got PO'd and handed him the bucket and said it's water and you can keep your stupid bucket. WTH? Who chases customers down who have left the building? She was not happy. You people need to fix this policy. Don't give away buckets that have had alcohol in them would be a start. The manager wasn't rude and if he had been, he would have dealt with me immediately but I got a kick out of watching him squirm with my wife. She doesn't take crap from anyone. I still recommend this place. it's a fun spot. I hope they address the issues I...
