Vintage Kava — Restaurant in North Carolina

One of the coolest places to hang out, do computer work, or meet new people in the Asheville area. Vintage has a very welcoming vibe, with friendly employees and board games and books available for customer use. Despite being a place many locals regularly go to, just about everyone seems excited to meet new friends. The drinks are reasonably priced and the music is always good, and the porch offers beautiful views. There is a large field with grassy trails and creeks that are accessible by foot. There are events such as chess clubs, live music/open mic nights, and bonfires. I have been to the chess club and open mic events before and loved both, and I've heard only great things about the fires. Do yourself a favor and check out Vintage Kava!

Vintage Kava is a very chill place to unwind and enjoy people's company. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. The environment has a comfortable and welcoming presence. There are regularly scheduled events that can fit most interests pretty easily. And it's easy to get into a pick-up game of chess, or even ping-pong. IMO, one of the best features is the view. During daylight hours, the view from the back porch is amazing. The staff also has great business hours, so it's easy to fit a drop-in for a busy schedule. I frequent many of the Kava bars around town, but my absolute favorite is Vintage Kava! They have the best staff, the best atmosphere, and by far the best drinks! Kava isn't known for tasting good, but somehow the wizards working at Vintage know how to turn that stuff into some very tasty beverages! I highly recommend the "Cherry Poppa" Kava soda on tap. They also have an amazing space available for musical performances, open mic nights, and private functions. I live in South Asheville and look for any reason I can to make it to Weaverville to enjoy Vintage Kava! Definitely...
