Not good for vegetarian, vegan, or plant based eaters. My group of friends has been going to hot pot places together a couple times a month for a decade and we were so excited for this new location, but unfortunately this was by far the worst hot pot place we’ve ever been to. Broths weren’t as flavorful, very limited plant based options and the options they had weren’t good quality. Even the meat eaters in the group weren’t satisfied with those options (fatty beef is normally a go to for hot pot but it was not good quality). They don’t have enough employees it took forever to be seated, to get refills, plates cleared, more broth, etc. Every other place we’ve gone to is usually the opposite (they’re checking in constantly). The whole experience started off wrong as well by the manager taking forever to figure out where to seat us, and then the table they put us at had a broken burner so they had to move our entire table of stuff and mixed everyone’s items up and then dropped something into our one friend’s broth that already had the broken burner and had to wait even longer to get a new broth replacement…Floors were very slippery someone is definitely going to fall in there. First time going to a hot pot restaurant and leaving without feeling full and for $32 per person we were definitely disappointed. I already paid and left over 20% tip, but wanted to give some feedback to the manager (the server was very receptive at least) and he just wanted to debate every point we made, zero customer service, very odd person in general. The hot pot place on McKnight road is 100x better and the new hot pot place in South Side is 50x better. There are a couple places in Oakland also that are small but very good. Very disappointing for this area it could have been a great new spot. The conveyor belts are pointless just has like bowls of dried out broccoli, dried out and brown corn, and ramen noodles for the most part. The buffet style to get the raw foods is definitely just a liability waiting to happen. Tongs were used on the wrong item, things dropped into other containers, etc. Save your money for some of the better places in the...

The entire experience was odd from the start: It wasn’t busy but took a long time to be seated and table was not ready once selected. The level of the exhaust pipes hanging in the middle of the table are so low that it is hard to see / communicate with people on the other side of the table. One of the hot pot plates did not work. Server eventually came back multiple times and even said “this again” when brought to her attention. Then came with manager who said we had to move our entire table to a different table. Upon moving tables, server dropped a piece of trash into one of the hot pots and it had to be replaced making the person wait even longer because their pot was the one in the burner that wasn’t working. Very few vegetable options and the belt items were basically all broccoli. Things like rice cakes were not on the buffet stands and were very few on the belt. Normal staples of all area hot pot establishments were noticeable missing. My beverage was never refilled nor was I asked if I wanted a refill. Others at our table asked for a refill multiple times and only received a refill after asking for a 3rd time. Upon paying bill we mentioned to the server it wasn’t the best experience. She got the manager on duty who proceeded to act like our feedback was a debate for 10-15 minutes basically saying that the restaurants focus is meat and he’s sorry we didn’t like the 3 options of mushrooms available like that was extensive. When making suggestions regarding other vegetable options other area hot pots provide the manager was combative regarding reasons why they wouldn’t have that and was dismissive. Wouldn’t recommend coming to this establishment. There are many other Hot Pot places in the area with lower prices, better food quality, better customer experience. We did not ask for a refund from the manager and told him we would not be coming back. He never should have been combative regarding our feedback regarding our first and last...

My family had an excellent time here for father's day dinner. We only opted for the hotpot though and not the grill. We had 6 plus one child. I think max seating available is probably for 6 but I'm not totally sure on that.

It is a buffet style all you can eat, so you just go up and grab what you want which is great. Other hot pot places I've been to you have to wait for the server to bring out your orders when you want more.

I was a little wary about having the uncooked meat out and about in the buffet style but they're kept reasonably cooled in a freezer. Other items like vegetables and shrimp are kept cool as well in containers on ice.

I think the quality of the broth and meats is about the same as other hot pot places in the region. We went with the tom yum, tomato, tonkotsu and sukiyaki broths. The only one that wasn't liked was the tonkotsu. What sets this place apart the most for me would be the desserts and sushi. They had a lot to choose from and only one of which I didn't like (coffee cake swiss roll).

We were seated next to a conveyor belt that had some small portions of things like vegetables which I thought was neat. We ended up taking some just so we could use the bowls for our hotpots. Space is limited at the tables so I used my plate as a staging area for uncooked items and then after they were done cooking I would ladle them into my little bowl which I held in my hand.

For what it's worth for the ramen, they use what I would compare to the MAMA instant noodles, which I love. I was expecting something like a shin ramyun noodle though.

The biggest negative I have for this restaurant is their floor. It is a very slippy material and I found myself having to shuffle a bit just so that I wouldn't lose my footing. I would imagine this is potentially a problem for people that have trouble moving around.

Overall I found that we all got our moneys worth and we will probably come back...
