So, last week I went into Target. Unfortunately the cashier was new/inexperienced. I received a $10 giftcard but the cashier did not know how to use the coupons for my purchase. I was told by the cashier to go to customer service which I did. Cashier totalled my coupons and I received a giftcard for that amount. Tonight in Target I attempt to use the $10 giftcard and was told to call the number on the back with the code "726". Called customer support and was told that I needed to go back to Target with my old receipt in order to receive a new giftcard. This would be fine if I lived close but I don't. Listen Target I love the idea of hiring teenagers/young adults for Christmas help but can you at least train them properly before putting them on the floor/behind a cash register. Read moreTwice-TWICE in one week they messed up two separate orders. First one, I came in after waiting all day for notification it was ready-only to be told “they didn’t have item”…interesting because I went directly to the department BEFORE I went to order pick up-and found FIVE of said item. Second one is a doozy-I ordered two sets of Twin Sheets-picked them up-everything appeared fine until we got them home-one twin set and one queen set. But I can deal with an honest mistake but what I can’t deal with is a service/pickup desk that won’t answer the phone after several calls-the night I picked up order AND the next morning! Pick up the phone! This could have been easily resolved-I’m a very understanding and forgiving person but when you cannot even answer the darn phone AT ALL…there’s a problem. Shame on management. This is a nice store but there’s no excuse for not picking...
Read moreThis is in particular to the Target Store Website. I have a baby registry and I haven't found all of the desired items I'd like in-store. So I turned to the online registry and the website is TERRIBLE for registering. It presents with error messages because the page won't load and when browsing more items to add on to your registry, the item you click on will not load so that you can add it and read item details. It's extremely frustrating. I had to call the customer service helpline and they identified that it's an IT issue with the website (not my computer, browser or network connection). I still have updating to do and my shower is at the end of this month. I'm becoming frustrated. I registered at Target and Babies R Us, and I know that Target has better prices...but looks like I'll be adding more items to my Babies R Us registry because theirs...
