If I could rate them zero stars, I would. You would think horrible experiences with Bravo two years would be near impossible, right? Well, two years in a row on Mother’s Day we sit here over two hours after placing our order with no food. We placed our order at 3:15pm from the 211 Summit Park Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 152752 location knowing that they would be busy. We were given a delivery time of 4:14pm. At 4:52 we called the restaurant and asked if our order was picked up. We were told “I do t know that is fine through a third party, you have to check with them”. When asking how we are supposed to do that the hostess said “ I don’t know, Google it”. We then asked to speak with a manager. We were put on hold for 10 minutes. We decided to call back and were told the manager tried to answer but picked up the wrong line. She informed us that she could see the manager and was going to grab him. We were again put on hold and then hung up on after 5 minutes. We called back a THIRD time when Patrick answered the phone and stated that the manager in charge had to leave due to a family emergency and the chef in charge was helping other guests, but he would try to help. He informed us that our order was not picked up yet and that they remade our order in the meantime. He mentioned that we ordered through a third party (yet we ordered bravoitalian.com) and that he could not refund our order. I was very cordial but obviously frustrated. Patrick continuously told me that he was not going to talk to me until I lowered my voice. Please take this as fair warning that Bravo’s online ordering is terrible, they do not know how to staff their restaurants for special days, and they managed to ruin our Mother’s Day dinner two years in a row! Happy Mother’s Day to all the...

Edited to add: I just wanted to update my last review. I still love this location, the food is still delicious, the service is great, and the restaurant is kept clean.

Another plus is that the staff will correct any mistakes that are made. They don’t make you feel like a bother, either.

I’ve found another favorite! It’s off menu: Pesto Pasta. It’s made with spaghetti, but I love Campanella pasta so they use that pasta. I also add an order of grilled shrimp and chopped tomatoes. It’s wonderful! It’s great that the chef will alter recipes to the customer’s taste!

In my original review I said I’d been coming here over 15 years. Today I realized that it’s been far longer than that; this Bravo has been here for about 30 years! I love it here!

I’ve been coming to dine at this location for over 15 years. It is the best location in the Pittsburgh area.

The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The portions are generous enough that I always have leftovers. One of my,favorites is the Pasta Yandolino. It’s an off-menu item so you have to ask for it. It has penne pasta (though you can change it) with chicken, mushrooms, spinach, etc., and feta cheese. I always add asparagus. One of the things I love about Bravo is that they will add, or subtract items if you ask. Their salads, soups, pizzas, and desserts are also delicious.

The staff here is good. They are friendly, but professional and attentive.

The restaurant is kept clean. Including the bathrooms.

I live in Pittsburgh, but this is the Bravo location that I visit. It is...

Everyone in the area appeared to rave about this restaurant when looking for a nice Italian place to eat at. I was sorely disappointed. My wife and I went to eat lunch on a Sunday afternoon and spent over $50 on just 2 entrees and taxes this is not including the tip! Worst part is the food was OK. My wife got the woozie pasta which is just Alfredo with grilled chicken with fresh spinach on top, the whole dish was over-seasoned but edible. The chicken parmesan which I ordered I thought was impossible to mess up but I was wrong. The cheese was fresh which was nice and the chicken had a nice crisp but the seasoned linguine was just butter noodles with some Italian herbs it was a child's dream. You get about 2 tablespoons of red sauce for the whole dish which was pretty good but nothing special. They offer some warm bread which is once again OK. do not expect a garlic bread or something out of this world. The server was very rushed until it was time to pay for the bill. She ignored the bill when most of the food was eaten and only focused on my refill of water. Did not ask about a box or check or dessert at that time. She then came back with the water left for a few minutes then asked about the box which led to being asked about dessert and left only to come back 5 minutes later with a receipt. If this is how a first time customer gets treated I would hate to see how the long term customers are treated. Final verdict will not be going back due to poor service and food that was not...

Okay so I'll get right to the point...I stopped by here for lunch with my family and unfortunately life has dealt me the hand of annoying food allergies. Trust me, I hate it too. And I hate going out to eat because waiters always get so annoyed and I never know if I'll go home sick. Well my worst nightmare came true on a recent visit to Bravo and despite having an allergy card that I carry with me to help staff with my food allergies (one of which means I eat gluten free pasta) and the friendly waitress.... They served me a dish with regular pasta. I took one bite and was sure of it. I asked the waitress, who sent over a manager, and sure enough they sent the dish out with egg noodles... Which use wheat flour as a combining agent (as most pasta do). I went from starving to terrified. I had to cancel my plans for the rest of the day and take Benadryl immediately. They comped my meal and sent me home with a replacement since i was no longer hungry (my appetite was fully gone at this point). And unfortunately when I decided to eat the replacement pasta (which i honestly considered skipping) there wasn't any sauce in it. I was so confused. Needless to say i won't be back here again, which is fine. But at this point I can't tolerate when restaurants make an error like this and say "we're human we make mistakes" or "it was an accident"....because my life is on the line and i am also a human. Food allergies should be taken seriously.

We went for an early lunch right as they opened on a Sunday afternoon. The hostess was a thin young lady with dark hair. Do you look like she didn’t really want to be there and wasn’t the most friendly when we got to the table. Our server was very prompt, very upbeat, smiling and friendly. She did a good job, the server that brought our food was not our main server and could’ve cared less whether we choked on the food not friendly at all in my experience here the food is either hit or miss if it’s good it’s really good and if it’s bad you don’t really want to eat it. we got the salad Insalata, the calamari, a child’s pizza, which was enormous, and could feed at least one adult, possibly two, and the Parmesan crusted chicken salad, which was excellent! The portion sizes are very big, so you get plenty to eat salmon salad it was very good came on a chill plate. Plenty of dressing. Again, the child’s pizza was cooked perfectly in a stone pizza oven, but was huge which I’m not saying that’s a bad thing but no child credit the calamari was drastically overcooked and taste like rubber. The garlic aïoli was very good however. Atmosphere is nice. The bread and dipping oil is always good, if you want some quick slightly better than average Italian, give it a shot
