I recently moved here and signed up for internet through Comcast and everything about the setup process has been absolutely terrible. I tried to contact the supposed rep for my building and never heard anything back. I then just did an online order on my own to get internet with my own modem and the flex streaming device. I got an email saying to go to the store to pick up my equipment so I did and got it set up. Then my internet was shut off a week later because the store employee gave me a modem I wasnāt supposed to have. Iām the customer, how am I supposed to know what comes with the plan. Every other internet provider Iāve had has come out with the equipment and set it up free of charge, then I just need my own WiFi router. Then I had to re set up everything and talk to the terrible customer āserviceā reps multiple times before it worked again. I then called another time to get the flex thing shipped to me, because they werenāt in stock when I picked up my equipment, the salesperson told me to call and they could send it to me, no big deal. I was on the phone with 3 different people, one who had absolutely no idea what Flex is and I had to explain it to her while she continually talked to me in a condensing manner, because why would they have a Amazon prime or roku streaming stick....? It took 41 minutes to get them to be able to put through the order for it. Iāve already wasted so much of my time in the first 2 weeks of being their customer. I am already looking into my other options and strongly suggest that you choose another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I was there Arun Krishnaswami helped me, I had to go pick up my child, was rushing and in a hurry told him I'd be back later after taking care of my kids he said I'll be here sir and smiled. I showed up later and chose to wait for him and was very glad I did. He was helping another customer and I watched him closely, he takes the time to make you feel comfortable and like you're not being bombarded by some phony salesman routine. I like that, he walked by me to reassure me he would be with me shortly while attending to the other customer as well multi-tasking on point šš¼. When he got to me not only did he make me feel good about my pending situation he remembered all my needs I blurted out earlier and ran out to get my kids. He had everything ready to go and because he sensed my urgency again to get to my kids he took care of me very fast and professional. I've been with Comcast/Xfinity for years home and mobile and Arun Krishnaswami is one of the reasons I stay with you guys. He took great care of me and both of my children's phone needs....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely terrible. We live out, kind of in the sticks. Our only option was starlink, which has been awesome, since I work from home. The only downside was the cost ($120/month). Xfinity recently came out, laid wires, and is now available here. I signed up for their $55/month internet. They came and set everything up and everything was fine. Then I get my first bill for $250. After finally getting to an operator, they say I was signed up for their triple play, which I did not sign up for. After 20 minutes of telling the operator I only want the internet, the matter was solved. I was told I was not on the hook for the extra stuff, but 2 days later my bill didn't change. We'll see if that gets resolved. Now, after 1 week of service, my xfinity router has a problem and the earliest anyone can come out is in a week. 1 week of service and have had nothing but problems. Don't waste your time. Find something better even if...
