This is the worst firehouse subs that I’ve ever eaten at .The most inconsistent and the employees are miserable. I absolutely love firehouse subs. I ordered the one here about one time a week and I stopped because the manager literally yelled at a customer for nothing that she was doing wrong. I didn’t order from there for months. I ordered another time,I think that manager is gone. The people working were great. I ordered a sub another day. The food was good. The service was good. I wanted a side the coleslaw and I got it for a charge, not a problem . I ordered it again the following week because I thought the manager was gone and it seemed like maybe things were turning around. I ordered a side of coleslaw even though it’s not on their menu, they have it for an another sandwich. I ordered three subs tonight and asked for a side of coleslaw and the girl working wanted to tell me that she couldn’t sell me a side of coleslaw because the sandwich that it comes on is all prepackaged .Not sure about anybody else in the world but I’ve never gotten prepackaged hot food and cold food together. She just didn’t want to do her job. So again, I will not be ordering from there my one time a week 3 to 4 subs each time. I will wait until I come across a firehouse subs somewhere else to stop and get it. So for any local people that do not like inconsistency, definitely avoid firehouse subs at North Fayette. For anybody traveling from out of state that may read this, do your self a favor and stop at a firehouse subs other than Robinson mall (North Fayette). Lots of other good places to eat...
Read moreWe arrived at this Firehouse Subs at 8:25 pm on 10/19, well before their posted closing time of 9:00 pm. There were four customers ahead of us, and the employees already seemed frustrated. One worker at the register told us, “I want y’all to know that all of your sandwiches have to be made to go,” in a very unfriendly tone — even though we were planning to take them to go anyway. The staff grumbled the entire time while preparing the food. We left at 8:40 pm, and the worker immediately followed us out and locked the door behind us, even though it was still twenty minutes before closing. Another customer tried to come in but was turned away. To make matters worse, our sandwiches were cold and hadn’t been heated up. My husband’s also was not cut all the way through which made a mess when he tried to pick the sandwich up. I’ve never had a bad sandwich from Firehouse Subs before tonight, but this location really missed the mark. The employees clearly didn’t want to be there, and the experience reflected that. If I owned this location, I’d definitely clean house and start fresh with a team that actually cares...
Read moreStopped by Firehouse Subs at Pointe At North Fayette on Veteran's Day (November 11, 2024) to enjoy their special offer for veterans, and it was a memorable experience. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken sub combo but received what looks to be thin slices of ham or turkey. Even with the error in the order, the sub was delicious! The restaurant’s layout is like walking into a mini-museum dedicated to firefighter first responders. The walls are filled with memorabilia—everything from hoses and photos of ladder trucks and pumpers to firefighter protective gear. It’s a powerful tribute and adds so much character to the space.
The restaurant was spotless, charming, and welcoming, and the staff’s kindness on this special day made the visit even better. It’s wonderful to see a business honoring our military heroes with such thoughtfulness. This was a meaningful experience, and I’m grateful for their warm hospitality. Highly recommend...
