A Restaurant Is Not A Restaurant Til It Accepts & Welcomes All Ethnicity/ Creeds.... Upon Our Arrival We Were Treated As If We Were Invisible & The Place Was Close To Empty, Had A Few Folks On Deck And A Few Inside....It Was A Fri In July 2024 About 1:00 P.M. There Was A Blonde Female Bartender That Treated Us With Such Disrespect By Waving At Us To Sit Over By Booths & Bypassing Us Several Times While Serving Others That Walked In After We Were Already Waiting To Give Our Order & Finally About 20 mns Later She Put Water On Our Table & Said She Had To Serve Drinks To Some Guys That She'd Be Back.... 10 Mns Later After Conversing With Them At The Bar, She Came Over & Said Are Yas Ready.... & Anything We Asked For She Didn't Have It Or Couldn't Make It Or Just Plain Forgot About Getting It For Us.... She Got Our Orders Wrong & Said That's What We Ordered..... We Didnt Want To Cause A Scene So We Just Paid Our Bill And Left Quietly But Very Very Dissatisfied....Tbtold The Food That We Ate Very Little Of Got Both Of Us Sick Shortly After We Left. Hope This Message Gets To The Right Person That Will Do Something About The Woman That Made Us Feel Very Unwanted, Unwelcomed & Very Uncomfortable....Folks Should Never Have To Deal With This Type Of Treatment Ever & Especially When They Chose Your Place To Dine In. I Have Faith That This Will Be Taken Care Of In A Professional Manner.... My Suggestion Would Be To Hire Decent Professional Folks Of All Creed That Want Folks To Come Back & Bring A Friend Or Two, Ect. Thank You & Good Luck With Your Cozy Looking Restaurant, Afterall Thats What Grabbed Our Attention To Stop In There In...
Read moreI have never been so disappointed by a restaurant. We get there, no wait, plenty of open tables, the waitress sits us (unbeknownst to us) directly across from a make shift take out window, which was FREEZING today, and we got blasted with cold air. We had to request to move to another table, which seemed to be more of a nuisance to our waitress than it was for us. Then after about 10 minutes we finally get to place our order. I ordered the NY Strip and substituted the baked potato for fries and corn. When it finally arrives, it was cooked wrong, it was a sirloin not a NY Strip, and they forgot the corn. The other person at my table, ordered the ribs, which came with fries and corn, he got his corn, took one bite and immediately told me not to bother asking for mine. It was dry, no butter, no anything. The ribs were dry. The whole experience was so incredibly disappointing, we didn’t even stay. And the fact that it’s $10 for ONE fried mozzarella square is OFFENSIVE. That was the ONLY good thing. This was my first and last time ever setting foot in that poorly managed, overpriced, inconsiderate, and bland establishment. Amici is a joke, don’t waste your money here, these positive reviews must be all employees or friends, because they are EXTREMELY inaccurate from what was presented tonight. This restaurant doesn’t deserve to be in business...
Read moreDitto the review by D'Marie 5 months ago, I agree with her about this very prejudiced place. Walked in here first Saturday of the New Year as a patron person of color and was greeted with scowls and disrespectful leers as waitresses at the door barked at us as to where to sit. One was short and chubby with dirty brown hair and the another I remember looked about the same. The place wasn't too busy at the time, me and my wife were then ignored by the majority of the waitstaff upon entering except for their racist attitudes. After an inexcusable amount of time one male server doing most of the work saw what was happening and finally stepped in and took our orders. The rest of the place was not too busy, servers took their times with other customers while at the same time giving me and my wife nasty and dismissive looks. Although our waiter swooped in and saved the day for us, we won't be back. I'm more inclined to go where our money, time and dignity are better respected then this pissy little bigoted...
