Five Guys — Restaurant in North Haven

Horribly rude teenage employees. My family arrived at 9 after a long drive with hours to go, we just ordered 1 BLT and 2 fries. However, apparently that’s enough to earn us a horrible experience. We waited at the counter for minutes before even being acknowledged with clear annoyance by the young man working. When one of us tried to use the restroom, the young lady cleaning blatantly blocked me off and started to pretend clean so we couldn’t use it. Our food took way too long especially with no other orders coming in, and when one of us said “goodbye have a nice night” they just stared at us as if they’ve never heard those words before. Overall, employees shouldn’t make customers feel like an inconvenience. I understand they close at 10 but if they can’t step it up and do their job correctly and with human decency, then they aren’t cut out to work in customer...

It was easily the worst chain restaurant food I ever reviewed. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with everything on it, along with French fries and strawberry Sprite. The burger went straight from the grill to the bun- which is a rookie move, bleeding through its thin layer, and turning it into a soggy slop of disgusting mush. Fries were not properly drained (a simple tilt to the basket does it), and the grease literally went through the bag. They were also overcooked. The Strawberry Sprite tasted like seltzer water with food coloring. Unfortunately I tipped at 20% when I paid. That's the real loss here. I definitely don't recommend...

I am completely disgusted with the individuals who run this specific location. DEANDRE SPEARS an employee at this location, was overheard calling my friend the R slur, and kept saying it and calling them stupid. My friend’s life was threatened by them and instead of firing Deandre, they just scheduled them on different shifts. Then, instead of firing Deandre STILL, their HR department met with my friend and told them it was their own fault for being called that! This is disgusting, it’s 2023 people.
