Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in North Huntingdon Township

This review is written after 4 visits. Real good subs, quality ingredients reasonably and competitively priced. On line ordering and paying through the app is quick and easy. I like the rewards program. The time given for pickup on the app is highly accurate. Despite this it is still not my preferred place to order a sub. I prefer my subs toasted and there is not an option for this. Its not too bad if I’m taking it home as today where I can pop it in the oven, but if I’m working I can only get my preferred sub cold. That’s a big minus for me. Plus it would be nice if they had a meatball sub. Who doesn’t like a meatball sub on occasion. That’s another reason I’ve skipped over them in the past. One other thing to note. Their cold subs are very wet. There is no option on the app where you can ask for the vinegar and oil on the side. One could call in their order, but that defeats the convenience of the app. Get extra napkins. Its yummy but a little messy…… I will definitely return there in the future, they are real good while only lacking in a few areas. Update 07/10/23: For a long time Jersey Mikes offered double points every Wednesday. This was a big part of my decision to go there. Every Wednesday I’d purchase one or 2 Giants and enjoy that reward because it got me to a free Giant sooner. They no longer offer double points which took a lot of value away. Needless to say I am now finding myself going to other places more to build on better rewards and going to Jersey Mikes less. I guess in a way its good for me as I no longer limit myself to Jersey Mikes and free to open up other food options. Bad for Jersey Mikes because they lost the money I...

They have a delicious Italian hoagie. I ordered the original Italian hoagie and it was really good. It comes with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni. I also get it the Mike’s way which comes with onion, lettuce tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil and spices. I also added pickles and banana peppers. They really pile on the veggies, which compliment it very well. I also got a combo which included a drink (I chose sweet tea) and a small bag of chips. It is not a bad deal for around $11.00. I also downloaded the app to join the rewards program. Their subs come in three different sizes, mini, regular and giant. I usually get the giant and it fills me up. The giant can easily be split between two people. With this location in particular, it is very busy during the lunch and dinner hours. You should download the app and order ahead of time do that you are in and out fairly quickly. When I went on a Saturday afternoon, I waited approximately 15 minutes in line. But, it was definitely worth the wait. They use great quality meats, and slice it on the slicer right in front of you so that it is not sitting out all day. About 24 years ago, give or take a few. A Jersey Mikes opened in Penn Center, Wilkins Township Pa. I immediately fell in love with their subs and became a regular. Unfortunately, Penn Center wasn’t a good location and it only lasted a few years. But I always craved another Jersey Mike’s sub. Now with North Huntingdon location open serving up the best subs in the area. I am hooked again. Welcome back to the area and thank you for bringing back that delicious taste only Jersey Mikes has. My only complaint is that I don’t really like take out because it’s best eaten right off the grill. And there’s only 3 tables for eat in which is sad and has a person that lives your subs wishing you would have gotten a little bigger store room to have more tables. But anyways.
