Racially discriminated, belittled and flat out embarrassed… these are my feeling leaving first watch today…..We visited this same location yesterday and had an amazing experience yesterday which prompted us to come back today unfortunately we didn’t receive the same service! Our waitress was kind and nice and very attentive unlike todays service!
We understand that it was a lot more people there today so maybe thats why our waitress was short with us and not as friendly. We understood that enjoyed our meal paid our tab, got change for tip, asked for a to go box and walked out the door not even making it 5 steps before we hear someone yelling at us a few steps behind.
We (my boyfriend and I) turn around not understanding what the man later known as hector was saying. We ask him to repeat himself and he states the WE NEED TO PAY OUR TICKET AND IT WASNT NOTHING BUT $10 ON THE TABLE! Looking confused my boyfriend started to explain the $10 was left as a tip for the waitress. At the same time I’m asking him didn’t he pay the tab as hector is still yelling that we need to pay up front and the $10 did not cover the bill. By this time the whole restaurant is looking out the window as we being accused of stealing.
After further explaining it. Hector said Aw if you paid my bad and turned around to walk in. I said to my boyfriend oh I can’t wait to speak with his manager NEVER THINKING THIS MAN COULD BE MANAGING ANYONE! And hector turns around and says I AM THE MANGER as the door closes behind him.
I’m not sure as to why he handles us like that but I’m so upset. I’m sure he’s not running after any other guest to make sure they’ve paid with a copy of the receipts waving in the air! My thing is if hector had time to print out a copy of the receipt by the time we walked 5 steps out the door why was he not able to verify that we paid before coming outside, racially profiling us and accusing us of stealing?

Read moreTo begin with let me start by saying I NEVER write reviews on a restaurant. Me and my friend came to brunch at this location we were told there was a wait time of 15-20 min. It was closer to 35-40min. Once we were finally seated at our table. Our water was brought out, both of our glasses were dirty and looked extremely gross. We requested new glasses; which our kind waitress brought us. We had placed our orders, one of those orders was our Smoked Salmon Benedict( we both ordered this, her’s was fine.) This was one of the worst Eggs Benedict that I’ve had personally. My egg was cooked like a hard boiled egg slapped with hollandaise sauce. I had to send my dish back ( Me And my friend never send dishes back) ,my kind waitress had it removed from our ticket. Thankfully since it was my first time here I ordered more than one dish so my meal wasn’t completely ruined. I had also ordered the Farmhouse Hash which was ok. It was nothing great. The best thing I had here was the Avocado Toast and the Million Dollar Bacon. But nothing worth coming back for again. Not to mention when our food was brought out, everything wasn’t brought out at the same time. My friend had ordered the million dollar bacon as well. Her order was not brought out until like 10 mins after our food had arrived. Although I had received my order of the bacon. (Keep in mind it was brought out 10 minutes later. )When the bacon was put down it was completely burnt and black, slapped with tons of maple syrup as if we would not be able to see how badly burnt it was . It practically looked like ashes. This too had to be sent back!! And our kind waitress had this removed from the ticket as well. Over all everything was mediocre. Read more5/21/24 SERVER: Jessica Went to this place with friends a while back and had a really good experience, so much so, decided I would bring my mother when she came into town. I went in for a late brunch and was met with a sour waitress named Jessica. If you hate your job, don't work hospitality. Not once did she smile, no friendly overture, nothing. Jessica came to the table asked if it would be separate checks and I told her just one. She brought our meals out and set my plate in the middle of the table for me to reach across my tablemates to get it, didn't even ask if we might need anything else. When we finished she preceeded to set a check in front of every person at my table, when I reminded her I said one check, she told me "just take it up there." What! Why couldn't you correct your error so we could pay at our table with the convenience of the app as it was designed for this purpose. So I paid for each meal separately which was super irritating. And upon leaving Jessica was standing at the hostess podium and didn't even say goodbye, thanks for coming, nothing, Rude ,rude rude! Thanks for making my visit with family an unco.fortable and inhospitable experience. It's ashame to cause I really thought it would become our "spot" for get together. Shame on the poor...
