Sweet EMOtion KC — Restaurant in North Kansas City

The food and ice cream is cool. Im not trying to be negative, but I wouldn't come back. Ice cream sundaes are very sweet. The burger choices are childish and pitiful. They are as childish and pitiful as the attitude of the workstaff. One staff member was rude to me after I called her, her and not them I'm assuming. Then the next person who I think was the bartender laughed at me. I asked her which burger was the LA and which was the KC..she told looked at me, laughed, and then told me "I'm not sure. You need to take them apart to figure that out. Why would I know?" Well, first off, I'm not going to the tear apart the burgers when neither of them are for me and the people eating them are living twenty miles apart. Second, why would you know? Umm I know you probably don't do anything all day but they are paying you and I know it's hard, but maybe you can remember the differences between the four burgers that you sell. Just saying, it wouldn't hurt. Then as I'm walking away I realize I didn't have two containers so I walked back up there and asked her for another container. The bartender sighed, rolled her eyes and proceeded to give a container with this disgusted look on her face. Now I know I'm not the most attractive person and I know that look better than she realizes because that's the look I give myself every morning as I stand in front of the mirror in the bathroom before work; but can anyone in this restaurant have just maybe five seconds of respect for the customers. Sweet EMOtion ice cream is one of the best hidden gems in Kansas City. This ice cream shop serves only oat milk ice cream, which is the creamiest and most delicious ice cream you will ever taste. I have been here a couple of times, and I have to say that I am always blown away by the quality of the ice cream.

One thing that I really love about Sweet Emotion is that they update their seasonal menu regularly with different topping combinations and options. This means that you can always try something new and exciting each time you visit. I have never had a bad experience here, and I always end up buying some ice cream to take home with me.

Although the prices are a little higher than what you would expect, the quality of the ice cream is well worth it. If Sweet Emotion was closer to my home, I would definitely be a regular customer there.

Another thing that I appreciate about Sweet Emotion is that they offer different limited time vegan desserts like cookies and cakes. This means that there is something for everyone, whether you are a vegan or not.

It was a little hard to find unless you happen to be on their fb page because there is no signage (it says company & co overhead). When you first walk in, there is a menu posted to the right above a trashcan (odd to have a trashcan right when you walk in). The place looks very nice and it gave a warm and inviting vibe. After looking at the menu, my friend and I went up to order and the cashier told us they only have their weekly features (again, confusing because they have a menu up with other options?). My friend ordered the peppermint brownie butter ice cream while I figured out what I wanted. The cashier was unhelpful unless I directly asked a question and I kind of got the feeling that I was an inconvenience being there because I was unsure of what to get. I ended up getting one of the chocolate chip cookies. The cookie was regular sized, very rich and thick and was $5. May be a little overpriced but it was good.
