THOU SHALL NOT BE SEATED! - Owner take note. Paying customers must stand until your entire party arrives even with the entire place empty? Nobody in our group of 5 will ever be back. If the managers goal was to ensure we never returned with this "policy" on a hand written note at the front desk, congratulations!
They actually told our group of 3 to stand and they WILL NOT BE SEATED until the last 2 of the party of 5 arrives while nearly every large table sat empty in the place? This is the most bizarre thing I think I've seen at a restaurant. People pay to go out to eat to be served and treated well, not treated like cattle or 3rd class citizens. The arrogance of the management will ensure this place won't be open very long.
I could understand this so called "policy" if the place was packed and seating was limited, or if it was just a couple of people wanting to hold seats for enough people to take up multiple tables. However, it was nearly empty on a Thursday evening and it was only a group of 5 which is only 1 table anyway. The reception girl even pointed out that several large booths sat empty, but nobody would be seated until everyone arrived with a smirk on her face.
The dumbest part of the whole thing is that parties of 2 were being seated in tables exactly the same size as our group of 5. So what was the point in making people stand and wait at the front door while others were being seated at the exact same size tables? Again, if it was to ensure we don't return and tell everyone about this place in a "not so positive" way, mission accomplished.
The food was mediocre at best, but our waitress was very good. We have no issue with our waitress as she was very attentive and did a great job. The speakers were turned up so loud directly over the table that even our waitress had a hard time hearing us to take our orders. I wouldn't walk across the street to eat here again even if someone else way paying.
Note to owner: Your management will either make or break you. Restaurants are a service industry and not a place for arrogant management or door greeters to treat people like trash. Is anyone listening? It would behoove you to...
Read moreOur 1st experience was unfortunately not great! I had been wanting to try this place so finally we went this past Saturday (Sept 2nd 2023). We started out with the chips and queso. The chips seemed like they were old and stale and from the bottom of the chip bag, definitely weren’t cooked fresh, the cheese wasn’t good either. We asked for a side of salsa and it literally tasted like tomato sauce poured out of a can, no salsa flavor at all! We both ordered wings, me a 5 piece, my husband the 15 piece (ALL DRUMS). I was finishing my salad (with wayyy too much cheese on top) as my husband started on his wings, by the time I started my wings he was eating his third one. I eat mine by tearing the meat away with my fork. As I tore open my first wing I noticed the meat was very pink and looked underdone, I opened another one and same thing. I brought it to my husbands attention so he immediately stopped eating and checked his because he eats his like everyone else by just grabbing and biting into them…his were super pink as well. We had to signal the waitress and she had more prepared for us. The 2nd batch was much better but truthfully we were already not pleased. We were also annoyed that when the 2nd batch of wings arrived cooked correctly my husband did not get all drums as he ordered in the first place. We didn’t want to bring up anymore issues at that point . “Hannah” was a great waitress and we still tipped her because she didn’t prepare the food and we didn’t want to have her suffer for their error. They did remove the “All Drums” from the bill and the side of tater tots ordered….the all drums should have been removed anyway because he didn’t receive all drums.
All I can say is once your served undercooked chicken at a restaurant it kind of turns you off to the premise...
Read moreI work very close to this location. I’ve never had issues before but today was very disappointing. I ordered my food online because I have a short lunch. I came to get my food and I was left standing at the host stand so I went to the bar. When I was finally spoken to by the red headed bar tender she asked me what I was there for and she asked if the bag of food on the shelf was mine..I went to look to verify it was mine and got it myself (odd but ok). I sat my the window the. Realized I need paper towels and ketchup so I moved to the bar as I saw the things I needed without having to ask. I was asked to move so paying customers could sit there…whoa! I said ok and I asked for some sauce. I saw the bartender speak to another employee from a distance but obviously very animated. He came over to me and handed me my sauce and a bill. I had my hands full so I was stepping toward a place to set my things to grab my wallet and he said “you need to pay for that”. I looked at him stunned, slowly explained my hands are full and I was looking for somewhere to set my things to be able to get my wallet. I chose against that, handed him that bill and sauce and left. I really like that place and it’s close so I am saddened but I won’t be risking another poor experience like that. I’m also going to be sure to share my caution with my team. At least the cook is good! My food was good once I found a place to sit down and eat...
