Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in North Kansas City

My sugar cookie latte ( blended) didnt taste like anything, no sweetness or anything. I dont think they used oat milk either, like i asked. My mom ordered the Caramelious Praline and it doesnt taste like anything either. The coffee/ espresso is bitter. One of the “baristas” was touching her face and clothes, wearing hand jewelry and wasnt wearing any gloves. She also didnt wash her hands, even after touching money. The machines and blenders looked gross and the windows was nasty too. And neither one of the baristas were wearing clean aprons.I work at Starbucks and I know how the procedures and how things should be run in a coffee place. They wouldn’t survive in a Starbucks. I absolutely love Scooter’s for their espresso. I will say that I find their espresso to be on the lighter end of the spectrum in regards to darkness/boldness in roast.

This location is easily accessible, all drive thru, and right near the highway. I use the mobile app to place my orders ahead of time and I’m always on my way in less than five minutes!

My order this morning was a Large-Iced Caramelicious latte, add coconut, light ice, three extra shots of espresso. I like to call it “Sweet Rocket Fuel”. You truly can’t go wrong with Scooters though.

I used to love going there as well as my kids would love going. We went for our usual 2 hot chocolates and my white choc mocha. There was 3 new girls who literally rolled out of bed one Friday morning and don't think were ever probably trained.
