Terrible Manager. Terrible Service. Terrible Experience. One star is too much. Just left the Geisha house. We ordered four dishes. But only three came. After about 20 minutes, I asked about our fourth dish. Waitress at first said we had received it. Then she finally realized we had not. She had disappeared and I had to flag her down. Come to find out, our dish was given away to other guests that had arrived and ordered more than a half an hour after we had ordered. The waitress and the manager, stand at the counter whispering and pointing. They were realizing who they gave away our food. I asked if they could make it to go. We waited another 20 minutes and I had to flag her down. She had not gotten around to removing the dish so I said we would just take it. We waited another 10 to 12 mins. I flagged down the manager who just kept walking by us delivering food to everyone else. I asked him about our food. And why he never came over to explain to us what happened or even to apologize. He said our food went somewhere else. I said yes I know you gave it away that is what happened. He said ok we are making it to go. Another 15 mins goes by, I am getting angry. I get up and go to the cashier and ask her to charge us for what we owe. The cashier said she will take off the dish we never got. As we are paying the manager comes over with the dish in a to-go container asking us if we wanted it. I told him again that I had a horrible experience and he as the manager never approached us to explain and he never apologized. I told him he treated us like we were invisible. While we had waited for our final dish, this same manager visited the couple at the counter about six times. They came in after us. Gave about five dishes to the group of people at a booth, that came in after us. He brought appetizers and main dishes to two ladies that came in about thirty minutes after us. He refreshed their drinks, cleaned their tables. But never once came to our table while we were waiting on our missed dish to say a word. Again I had to flag him down. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, SERVICE, STAFF and MANAGER. It will be a cold day in hell before I go back there. Terrible experience!!!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a reservation only restaurant. So they have hibachi tables. The chairs at those table should be slightly higher. It seem like some of the hibachi tables were different heights. There was 3 people in my party. Someone came and took our drink order but our food order didnāt start until approximately 20 minutes later, because they wanted the hibachi table full. Two additional parties finally came and they started getting everyoneās order. What they didnāt advertise on the menu nor did we see it on the website is that everyone in your party has to order off the hibachi menu to sit at a hibachi table. Two of us did order off that menu but one person wanted sushi. Because she wanted sushi we actually had to move to another table. That information should be posted some where so you know from the start, definitely should be added to the website.
Ok, we finally get to order. We order lunch specials, salmon asparagus salad (10 out of 10, so good!!!!), hibachi shrimp and chicken and it comes with fried rice, a small plain salad, soup (also tasty) and 2 different types of sushi rolls. I remember she ordered spicy but I donāt remember what kind.
We received all of the food within 10 minutes. Our favorite was the salmon asparagus salad, get it, itās so good! The chicken was a little over cooked. The rice and soup were fine. So while we were eating I think someone checked on us once. We were there approximately 45 minutes. We didnāt know if the bill was supposed to be brought to the table or we pay at the register, because we only got checked on once. So we flagged someone down and finally was able to get the bill. We came in right at the opening time, which was 11:30, so Iām not sure why service was so slow. When we did have an encounter with the employees, they were nice.
I will revisit again, why, you guessed it, the salad, lol. The restaurant is located inside a plaza. I actually had to circle a couple times to find a parking spot. The area is nice. The restaurant was clean. They just need to be much better at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo the owner/management: don't teach our servers to be sneaky and upcharge your customers.
People, check your receipts before paying. We have been dining at this facility for years and never had a problem. The food and atmosphere are always on point, and we treat our chef well.
However, we had four dishes at the hibachi table, and our youngest two children shared one plate. Two other guests joined our table (not part of our group). Upon receiving our check, our server put us down as a party of 6, which increased our bill significantly, automatically adding gratitude. We had tipped our Chef $30.00 already.
We brought it to our server's attention, and she wasn't too pleased. She stated she needed to call her manager in front of us and proceeded to speak in a foreign language (I don't mind people talking in their dialect, but not when there's a conflict and we have no idea what she was saying, very unprofessional).
Our bill was printed again, and one extra partie was removed. Again, I brought it up to the server's attention. We ordered four dishes, and one was shared with our toddler. We could have paid for it without a problem, but our toddler was NOT served a full plate, nor did she receive the additional sides they come with. In anyone's opinion, they should not count as an additional party. They already charge an extra fee for a shared plate. The server removed the remaining parties, and our bill dropped by almost $80.00. We did not leave our server empty-handed; we tipped them $30.00 as well. Overall, we paid our bill the way it should have been provided. We tipped our chef and server more than anyone would...
