IHOP — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

I've been coming here for about 5 years now and after todays experience with the waitress named Regina and her manager, I will no longer come here, mind you I live literally down the street. I've been here 4 times this month for the all you can eat pancakes and whatever we don't finish we take home in a box. Today the waitress got an attitude when my mom asked for a box and a bag while I was still eating. When I finished eating I asked for another two boxes for my girlfriend and I. She comes back with the boxes but no bag. When I ask her for a bag she rolls her eyes and says to hold on. When she finally comes back she has the nerve to say we can not ask for boxes when we get the all you can eat pancakes. This really got me upset because one, they were half eaten not like we asked for another set to take home and two, we payed for them!! If it comes with the order and I no longer can fit food in my stomach I am taking it to go. I told her it was odd that we have been here 4 times this month and have never been told anything. This lady goes and has her manager come back to tell us we can't take pancakes to go. Am I just suppose to leave my half eaten pancakes there when I can have them later on at home!? I went to pay and the girl in the front was so polite that I decided to give HER the tip because in those 10 seconds she spoke to me, she was more polite than the 30 minutes I spent with Regina the waitress with attitude who caused loyal customers to never...

DO NOT GO TO THIS IHOP!!! (store #1616). THE LOCATION IS FRANCHISED AND IT IS NOT UP TO THE NORMALLY HIGH STANDARDS OF THE IHOP COPORATION!I have been to this restraunt on 3 different occasions and have been sorely dissappointed each and every time. Their service is horrible, rude and slow. It does not matter if the restraunt is busy or not. I had no idea it took 30min to pour 2 glasses of water. The staff always has an excuse to give you on why things are taking so long. I can tell you why. It's because they are too busy chatting with eachother to do their jobs properly. I know this because I CAN SEE THEM DOING SO IN THE KITCHEN AND GALLEY AREA! I do have eyes.I would prefer to not be lied to.The food is no better than the service. All their meat products taste like they have been cooked in the microwave. As a cook myself, I know what microwaved meat tastes like. Not so good. This IHOP has bad meat in abundance. McDonalds has better tasting meat then this place does. French toast? Nope. Just 4 thick pieces of stale bread, buttered and seared on the grill for looks. Again, McDonalds has better french toast. AND I HATE MCDONALDS! BUT I WOULD EAT THERE EVERY DAY THAN TORMENT MYSELF WITH ANOTHER VISIT TO THIS IHOP!!IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.AVOID IHOP STORE #1616...

My server came to my table once. It took her so long we were ready to order our food and drinks at the same time. A bus person brought out our food and the chicken was burned, the waffle was cold (the butter NEVER metled) and we were never given any silverware. I had to speak to the manager who offered to cook my meal himself but by this time I was done and ready to go. We placed our empty cups on the edge of the table to indicate that we would like refills but that never happened. The sad part about our server is that she continually came to check on the other tables she was serving around my grandbaby and me but never stoppedbyto see if we needed anything. She never even brought us our check. Once we tried to pay the waitress at the register explained that my server would have to assist me with my check. Once Fatima came to the register I asked to see the check. My meal was still on the check. When I explained that I returned my meal and wanted it removed because the food was cold and the chicken was burned she asked me if I had eaten any of the food. I simply asked for the manager.
