Found this place by accident, but took two of my boys for haircuts a month or so back. The owner, Rigoberto is very friendly and did a great job cutting one of my boy’s hair, I don’t remember the other barber’s name but he also did a great job with the haircut. I had called before going in to confirm they take walk ins, and I was told hes, they always take walk ins but there may be a wait, which was fine. Waited maybe 15 minutes before being serviced and that was great
Stopped by today, again with no appointment. I came in, said hello to the one barber that was working, didn’t even get acknowledged. I sat down, it was about 20-30 minutes before I was even acknowledged and the barber asked if I had an appt to which I said no. He said ok, there were barbers in the back and one would come out when he was free. I waited over an hour after that, a few barbers walked up front and then back, nobody said anything at all. I walked out.
I understand that I didn’t have an appointment, but if they’re not going to do walk ins on a specific day, they should have said that when I walked in instead of wasting my time. I should note the owner wasn’t in, and I probably will come back with an appointment since they did a good job on the haircuts, but it’s unprofessional to not even acknowledge a customer and pretty much ignore them after waiting...
Read moreOnce upon a time I came in to see Remberto for my sons hair cut 3 mins late . I repeat it only THREE minutes late , he at that time told me I was late and could not see me and already had someone else in the chair. Fast forward a to a week ago we made another appt for my son. My husband rushed home from work, picked up My son to take him to his appt with plenty of time to spare. However, when he went in and asked for Ramerto (the shop owner) for my sons appt, another barber told him that he had an emergency and left. Now I don’t run a business but if I Did, and an emergency happened where I had to leave, how hard would it be to get someone to call the rest of my appts and explain the cancellation? My sons appt was late in the evening so it wasn’t like it was 20 more people in his books, anyway a week has gone by now and he never called back to schedule us in, or apologize for the inconvenience. He clearly thinks that HIS time should be respected but not His clients! If you want a professional barber Just take your business to Mario’s barber shop because at least They respect their...
Read moreSaturday morning, i came to the barber shop. No where does it say “ Appointment only “ or anything of the sort. I sit down and i stay seated for about 20 minutes without being talked to. I get it since every barber was cutting hair. Another 20 minutes finally pass and someone asks “ are you walk in ? “ i say yes and thats it. 20 more minutes past and a barber opens up. I thought he was gonna get me in but he says “ i have an appointment coming in “. His appointment didn’t get there until after 20 minutes of waiting. I don’t have the place to judge or ask why he decided to just wait on his phone instead of trying to get me in before his appointment. The barbershop has a very big ego to it. They act like they are the only barbershop in vegas. They are not customer friendly. I did not get a single time estimate or nothing. Worst experience ever in a barbershop.
Edit: if you pay attention to all the low star reviews, all of them talk about the same thing. The barbers here spend more time on their phone than...
