Ordered 2 McChickens and 2McDoubles and one Large fry and a $3.59 chocolate shake. 11/20/2023. Used a credit card and they ended up taking my ticket with my price because I was told they were making my shake and made me move to the second window and someone finally realized I was there after I gave him my original receipt and only got the refund ticket back because he needed to keep the original as well and he said they couldn’t find it. I asked for a copy and he said he didn’t have a way to do that (he was a trainee so I don’t blame him) and it took 9 minutes to get my refund on the shake - after being told that they were making my shake! (because at least three days of 7 they say the ice cream machine doesn’t work or is broken. I was there waiting to order for 14 minutes and I was 2nd in line. Store # is3560 on McCain Blvd by Jimmy John’s.ticket says for issues contact KIMCO by email (which is gmail as I have) and it says no such email. Texted the number on ticket and no response. Re-sent text and no reply. Called the number and it goes to the store. I went in for my original receipt and they didn’t have it (tossed it I’m sure) and I’m not going to stop complaining until someone makes this right. I can call my credit card companies but I’m not going to do this because this is the restaurant’s problem. The only thing on the ticket that may help is a survey code and initials I assume for the worker KS#13 at 2:53 pm and order 34 but I don’t know if that correlates to my original order or just my refund. Says to contact KIMCO Family Restaurants but they have yet to contact me. I’ll never go back. I’ll also contact some corporate office somewhere until I find out who they are because I spent about $22 and everything tasted awful said my husband. I won’t eat at McDonalds because of this kind of service. As a manager of a Sonic for 19 years beginning at age 15, if my employees did this and didn’t respond they were terminated. I suppose this store doesn’t care about their customers. Except to take my money. No need to add my name or phone because it’s obvious nobody cares. I didn’t eat. My husband was angry so it ended up in the garbage- the way I...
Read moreWe went today after church because my young son was so good sitting without me while I was in choir. We had great service and the location was clean. Normally I wouldn't even take time to review a McDonald's, but this trip is worth an exception. One of the workers was in charge of minding the floor and keeping the place tidy. He not only did that job, but went above and beyond in my opinion. He saw my little one was almost finished with his meal and asked if he could have some ice cream. Of course I said yes. Now it was the small kiddie cone that they do for free for anyone of you ask for it, but we didn't have to ask for it. He came and asked us. Not once but three times he checked on us and asked if we had everything we needed. When we were about to leave I was gathering our waste and he came and asked to take the tray away for me. I thanked him for that, and was so shocked we started to walk out to the car talking about it. My eight year old said to me how nice he was. I said son you're right. Hold on let's go back for a second. We walked back in and I found the gentleman at his cleaning station hands dirty with cleaner and whatever else he had been handling. I asked him his name. His name is Carl. I said Carl I want to shake your hand. He started to say but my hands... I said I dont care. I took his dirty working with pride in his job hand and shook it as I looked him in the eye and thanked him. As we walked to the car my son asked me why I did that. I told him that son not everyone has the job they want, not that his job is bad, but he probably never gets told thank you or shown much appreciation. That son is a man. He takes pride in his work and has a great attitude about it. That's what a man does. He deserved to be shown the respect he showed to us so I had to go back and give it to him. I dont know if the owners will read this. I dont know if his work ethic and gratefulness is noticed by anyone else, but it was not lost on me. Thank you Carl! I know it's a small gesture, but this guy is a leader and an asset to that company. We will come back to this location when we next make a trip to McDonald's. That's...
Read more98 times out of 100, that we go here, the sandwiches are done to our orders, no surprises. But then you have a day like last Thursday! My husband & I ordered the same burgers, with special orders, at different times, from different workers- and we both ended up with the orders NOT BEING FOLLOWED!! I mean, seriously? We often eat here twice a week, and we always modify the sandwiches a little. Always, extra onions, sometimes, no cheese. Last Thursday, we both got Quarter Pounders. I ordered mine with extra onions, mustard, leaf lettuce & cheese. WHAT I GOT WAS A BURGER, MUSTARD & a teaspoon of MINCED ONIONS - THAT'S' IT! No lettuce, no cheese! And I didn't discover it until after we were home. My husband's order, was a Quarter Pounder, no cheese, with extra onions, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, mustard and ketchup. WHAT HE GOT, WAS 2 BEEF PATTIES ON A BUN!!! Nothing else! As we looked at our tickets, they were both correct. Even the slip that goes on the sandwich box was right! But the sandwiches were just completely ridiculous! My husband wanted everything EXCEPT cheese. He got nothing but meat & bread! He discovered his as we were at Walmart. While I went in, he opened his sandwich to start eating. He didn't take a bite! We went back and he got a Filet-O-Fish instead. When we were going in, so was another man, with an open sandwich wrapper. He headed straight to the side counter with his trouble. So we weren't the only ones with burger woes that day! I wish I had checked mine then too. I should have taken this as an omen! Well, as I said, this is no where near the norm for this McDonald's. We will continue to eat here, but I am gonna check my order before I leave the counter area! Must have been a bad day every where. Walmart overcharged me on the colas I...
