If I can give this place 0 stars I would! They don't even deserve 1 star. This place is the WORST place, don't waste your time or money. The customer service is ABSOLUTELY terrible. I called because my account was overcharged a different amount than the amount I had signed for. What kind of restaurant does that?!? Was immediately put on hold without even getting a word in. Waited on hold for 10 minutes, to make matters worse, the "on hold music" is carnival music. SMH! Called back again, again put on hold immediately. Waited another 5 minutes. Hung up and called again, same guy proceeds to tell me to hold, I had to interrupt him and tell him I've been on hold for 15 minutes, id like to speak to a manager. Instead of responding, he goes quiet and then puts me on hold. I waited another 5 minutes. At this point ive been on hold for 20 MINUTES. I hang up and call back, apparently the guy answering the phone thinks it's perfectly fine to treat customers like garbage. He picks up the call and hangs up, most likely has caller ID. I wait 10 minutes then call back again, hoping to get someone else, no luck. The same guy answers the phone and IMMEDIATELY puts me on hold. No greeting, not a word, just straight to hold. Who runs a business like this.
I'll make sure to NEVER eat here again, and make sure my friends and family don't spend a penny here. Years back, a friend brought a piece of Bobka from the bakery and was charged $12 for a thin slice. I can buy an ENTIRE bobka for that price. What we received was NOT bobka but marble cake. I made sure to return it. How stupid do they think people are that they won't know the difference between Bobka and Marble cake. NEVER again. I'll be sure to contact the Better Business Bureau about the credit card fraud, I could only imagine how many unsuspecting people never notice the overcharge on their account....
Read moreIf I could leave zero stars, I would. Roasters & Toasters North Miami was once a place my husband and I loved—somewhere we spent time, money, and gave generous tips. That changed in a single, heartbreaking moment at the North Miami location. My husband is 58 years old, terminally ill with kidney failure, heart disease, and is an amputee. After a dialysis session, he visited for breakfast. Suddenly, he became ill from the food and, in a medical emergency, had an accident at the restroom entrance. Mortified and weak, he went inside to clean himself and tried to get paper towels to clean the area. What happened next shocked us to the core. The manager—loud, aggressive, and heartless—began shouting at him to come out and clean it immediately. Despite staff members pleading with her to show compassion, she responded coldly: "I don't care." She demanded he leave through the back door. My husband, with one leg and in visible distress, did the best he could and exited through the front—humiliated. When I went to speak to her, she said, “What’s happening to your husband is not my business,” and asked me how I would like to clean up someone else’s mess. No apology. No empathy. Nothing. This woman inflicted psychological harm on a man who has faced unthinkable challenges with quiet strength and dignity. Now, for the first time, I see my husband broken—not by illness, but by cruelty. Roasters & Toasters should be ashamed to employ someone so lacking in compassion. I hope no other family experiences...
Read moreTo be more precise, this is the sixth time I come to this place, I have always wanted to make a comment about the treatment, especially the food, and I don't dare to say anything for the simple fact of giving it a chance thinking that one day they will improve because I'm tired of giving it many chances. Today, January 12th, I had the worst experience. I remember the first time I bought pastramis from them, I bought three, one for me, my wife and my little daughter. Every time I make my orders I am always very specific. I always order the biggest one for me and the other two for my wife and for my little daughter, the smallest one. Since the third time I started buying from them I realized that every time I order they always give me the three pastrami sandwiches exactly the same, there is not much difference and I see that they always deceive me because they say that today there is a discount, they discount us $8 for each one of them, they discount it, but in the end when we get home I always get the surprise that the three pastrami sandwiches are practically the same size, that is, they are small. In other words, it is a scam because one as a customer pays more for the large one and a little less for the lighter ones, it really is an insult to good customers and this time I promised myself never to go to that place again and I hope that my opinion and experience of that place can be read by people who look for quality and above all when one pays for...
