I ordered online for pickup for 6:38pm. I usually order from Surfside and Hallandale but I was in the area and it was the most convenient. Boy what a mistake!!This was my first time visitng the location and definitely the LAST. To first start off the place was not busy its was half full and there was no wait. I went to the to-go area for pick up at 6:38 and it wasn’t ready till 11 minutes after. The Togo server handed me my bag at 6:49pm and to my disappointment, the Lemon chicken pasta I ordered Did NOT have the sauce in the togo entree. I called the location 4 different times because the prior three times, it went to a voice message. I spoke to hostees and explained to her that my togo order was not correct and incomplete. The manager SEBASTAIN got on the phone. This must of been his second day on the job because when I told him I had no sauce in or on my lemon pasta chicken, The 1st thing he stated was “Did you check the order before you left?” I replied to him, “Excuse me, isnt this your responsibility? I couldn’t believe this was the first thing out of his mouth. If that wasnt bad enough, his next alternative was that I could come back and pick up the sauce, and or he can give me another one when I order the next time. “Holy amateur hour!” jThis manager wins 1st place for what NOT to say when resolving a guest issue! I stated I wont be ordering from here again, and I asked him for a refund on an incomplete order. He stated he was trying to give me a “quick fix” to my problem. My rebuttal was a “quick fix for yourself! He stated he had no way of refunding me. WOW! He was already being evasive with his tone, and was beyond frustrated. I told him this was ridiculous that him being a manager for multi million dollar 30+ location establishment had NO MEANs to refund me, due of an error on his end! SEBASTAIN was obviously fresh off the boat as far as being a manger and lacking on how to find solution to a error, that was on there end. He was snappy and rude when I told him I would be reaching out to corporate about this because he obviously couldn’t resolve the issue! What a JOKE! Anyone ordering on online, hope and pray you get your order correct, becuase if not, effidently its above managements paygrade to correct the mistake! Get it...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would!!! The customer service at the North Miami Flanigan’s was absolutely horrible. I’ve been an avid customer of Flanigan’s for several years and have done several other reviews that were superb for other locations but this location has by far delivered the worst experience I’ve ever had. I placed a takeout order for a 50-piece wing and a Rockin’ Rib Roll. When I arrived to pick it up and asked for blue cheese sauce, I was told I had to pay for it. I didn’t even get a small starter sauce or anything.
Never in all the years I’ve ordered from Flanigan’s have I had to pay for sauce for my Chicken wings especially when dining in. So why the upcharge for takeout? I was told by the manager, whose name was Kash that it was their policy, and they went ahead and blindly charged me for it in the past. I’ve never seen sauce charges on my previous receipts, and it felt like a total scam.
I mean I don’t mind paying for the sauce but it was the attitude behind the delivery. To make matters worse, the young lady working the front desk couldn’t be bothered to even acknowledge me when I walked in to pick up my order. She was too busy chitchatting on the phone - no greeting, no eye contact, just straight up rude. As for the manager, her attitude when she approached me was just as bad. When I mentioned I would be leaving a review about my poor experience, she had the nerve to say, “Don’t worry about it, we’ll do fine.” Absolutely unacceptable. There was a young lady who was willing to give me a small sauce at no charge before I left as a courtesy but because the attitudes were so terrible I had to get out of there fast. I had to go to Publix and pick up some blue cheese just to eat with my wings. WHAT A TOTAL DISASTER!!!
I will never return to this location, and I strongly recommend others think twice before going. If this is what they consider acceptable customer service, then they’ve already lost the meaning of hospitality. Do better. The manager and front desk take out girl need to go back to Customer Service 101 training. I still can’t believe this happened. I was sooooooo disappointed! I couldn’t even enjoy the food because the service was...
Read moreBeware of having over two bartenders getting you drink orders one of them is bound to say that you've had more than enough to drink. Even though you're buying drinks for other people. I will eventually cut you off and send you home but before doing so she'll give you the bill for someone else. Before making you pay for your own bill which only had one drink on it and some shots that you had bought for some other people. Granted my drink was a single shot and a pint glass with soda water and cranberry juice inside of it along with some liquid IV that I added to it as well. I have never had to experience this before. I had a barrage of management that showed up as if I was making a scene out of the whole situation which I wasn't. The bill did not reflect the drinks that supposedly were poured and if they were poured Why didn't it reflect on the bill. Because I honestly remember having the drinks that I had. Also the bartender notated that I did not eat anything at the restaurant. I had told her that I had eaten before I arrived and she told me how was I supposed to know that. I've been going to Flanigan's for over 20 years. And this new bartender all of a sudden things that she can gauge someone of my stature 6'7 330 lb from one drink and two shots. Be careful of ordering drinks for other people as you might get kicked out of the restaurant. Oh and by the way you need to disclose if you had eaten at another restaurant before arriving to Flanigan's. There are far too many regulars that come in there that will drink until they're falling out of their chairs but they're never asked to leave. Because they've been coming there I guess a lot longer than I have. Thanks Patty for making this experience that much better for...
