Becky was the Bartender, not a whole lot of people in the establishment, plenty of seats open at the bar and floor so chose the bar. She us sit, did not greet any of us, filled up a drink for someone and walked away. I waited 15 minutes and she comes out the back giggling with people and proceeds to walk past me to grab a glass rack of dishes and disappears again. The bus boy came over and asked if we had been seen. I said seen, yes, spoken to no, it's been almost 15 minutes. He got us our drinks and apologized and said she will be right over. We finished our drinks and then she walked over and dropped menus and said will be right back. Didn't get a refill of soda for us either. We looked at the menu and waited patiently. All while she was tending to other customers knowing we haven't truly been worked in to what she was doing. She finally came back, took our order and did not immediately put it in. Other customers finished at the bar and left, others showed up sitting in front of dirty dishes, she had a table section too all had dirty dishes on them as well. I got a refill finally when food came out. Didn't come back to us til I waved her down for the check. Didn't ask how the food was either. She had bad time management goofing off with coworkers not keeping areas clean or checking in with patrons. Meanwhile other workers also see this and standing in wait stations playing of phone ls and talking but no one offered her help even tho it all should've been easily handled for what she had for customers. I will not be back because it was very u professional. Very disappointed in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy disabled mother was refused service with her service animal, on her BIRTHDAY. Unbelievable. A short boy with long hair by the name of Dominic came and doubted her disability, as she hobbled into the restaurant leaning on her cart. She was shocked. She had never had anyone tell her that they were refusing service before, and doubted her disability. 52 years old, we had to go to Cracker Barrel to celebrate after a long car ride to Myrtle Beach. The funny thing is, Reina is a licensed service animal and was in a stability cart to avoid being noticed. No other guests were even in the vicinity. She was refused at the door, with no legitimate reason. Thanks again Dominic! Your upper management will be hearing about this for the cowardly behavior.
Iāll be sure to send her service animal registration to the regional management. We do not want to be at a restaurant we do not feel welcome. We are very mindful of other guests, and would have been okay with eating outside if they did not feel comfortable with us. I could understand if there was a reason, but we had literally just walked in the door after unloading the car. We would have no problem sitting far away from any of the guests, since there was barely anyone in the restaurant at the time. We are still laughing that he even questioned her disability, as she hobbled out on her walker cart and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDecided to stop in Sunday after Christmas shopping but almost left after waiting forever at the front and being ignored by staff until a server who seemed to be the only one working finally stopped cleaning off tables and asked if I needed assistance with a pickup order. I said no that Iāve been waiting for a table. She immediately apologized and asked if I would like to sit in the dining room or bar area. I responded that I would like to sit wherever her area was since she seemed to be the only one working. She again apologized for my wait sat me down in her section and was very attentive to my requests. Even after she took care of me, I sat and watched her continue to clear off tables, run food and help guests be seated, all while still taking care of me and my food. Heather was an amazing server, had a great personality that changed my whole mindset on returning back and Iām glad I decided not to leave. As a local itās very disheartening and disappointing to see such a nice establishment going down the drain. The food wasnāt the greatest and waitstaff needs improvement. I do recommend Heather to anyone wanting to eat here because she was the highlight of my experience there and looked to be the only worker who seemed to actually care. Thank you Heather and...
