Ledo Pizza — Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach

Hands down the #1 place in North Myrtle that I WOULD NOT send anyone to.

We arrived to find what turned out to be the owner or member of management and 2nd "manager" embroiled in a verbal disagreement with a customer about how long it was taking to get part of his order.

Initially, I thought Wow...that customer is making a scene and being a jerk. Little did I realize what experience awaited us.

Nobody acknowledged us or told us if we seated ourselves or needed to wait. Ultimately, another customer let us know.

Once seated, our server appeared quickly and told ua they had a "team service approach, and if we needed anything, any of the staff could be asked.

Nice in theory...HORRIBLE in execution. Once the food arrived, we were never checked on again. I flagged the manager and out server several times, but they simply went on their way. No refills, nada.

My wifes fettuccine alfredo was missing the chicken....along with any semblance of flavor. The pizza arrived with so much bacon. I filled a bowl with the excess and still had a ton left on the pizza.

After MULTIPLE attempts to get service and being readyto just pay the bill and leave, a manager swooped by and said I'll grab you a box seeing my wifes full.plate pushed aside....I never even got a word in before he disappeared.

When he returned with the box I stopped him and told him....we dont need that. We dont want the "leftovers" as my wife didnt like it at all, nor did she even get what she ordered.

The manager proceeded to lecture me on how anyone there could help us at any time. Once he paused, I informed him that I had made NUMEROUS attempts shy of walking back into the kitchen and demanding to speak with someone.

His response: Well, no one would ignore you on purpose.

Sir, you're missing the point. The service was horrible, my wifes meal was the most tasteless and bland fettuccine alfredo, which was missing the chicken.

We never got a refill of our waters, NOTHING.

Ultimately, I told the man I simply wanted to pay our bill and leave. The time for discussion was over, and we simply wanted to get out of here.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, and I see now why the original customer was so unhappy.

If it were possible, I would give this visit ZERO out of 5 stars.

In all fairness to the restaurant, I will provide the following positive feedback:

1.) The provolone cheese they use in lieu of mozzarella was not as odd as it sounded.

I had enough leftover bacon to add to a burger for my wife later, more for breakfast the following morning and still more that we couldn't eat. If your dream pizza is bacon with a side of pizza dough...the BBQ Chicken pizza is for you.

If you’re within one hundred miles. Drive straight here. Ledo Pizza is an establishment that prepares its food with love and passion. Our server, Miss Haley was an absolute God-send. She was genuinely kind, absolutely a sweetheart, and professional. You would have to understand my love for green olive, but I told her I would confess my love to her if she actually had green olives for the pizza. (In jest of course) She advised she couldn’t promise, but would see. The pizza came out, and was loaded with love! After speaking to the Owner Joey, we were advised his wife had actually went to the grocery and purchased more olives, as they had ran out that morning. Shout out to Miss Haley, and a shout out to Miss Erin!! After our meal, Miss Haley offered us cupcakes, which you can get there after your meal, or order via the number on her business card, included in my photos. Great food is one thing, but exceptional people are difficult to find. Thank you Miss Haley for your great service, and your kind heart. We really appreciated our time with you. New customers, called in to ask for the prices for a large pepperoni and large Italian sausage pizza and was quoted $13.22 for each. Said it would be ready in 20. Arrived and the staff was not able to locate our order until 10 minutes in. On top of that told us at the register that the large pizzas were now $20+ a piece. When we asked the cashier she asked the cook and he was seemingly confused and proceeded to get someone else from the back where that guy then told us they didn’t even have anything on their menu close to $13.22.. understanding that we still wanted to make it clear that we were told that price. We ordered 3 pizzas total, 2 separate orders when paying. My sister in law opted out of purchasing her pizza because she wasn’t told to begin with that they were over $20.. where the guy then proceeded to tell us that we had no choice but to pay for all of the pizzas now. When my sister in law told him she was no longer getting the pizza she ordered his response was “well now you’re just expecting me to eat this pizza..”.. needless to say we didn’t purchase any of the pizzas and walked out. Very rude. And will never go back there. Hopefully anyone who else does will have...
