The Home Depot — Local services in North Myrtle Beach

I went to this store Thursday to browse christmas inflatables because I know how fast they sell. Found one I liked and they were out so I asked customer service if they were getting another shipment and she said no...I then asked if I could buy the floor model since they weren’t getting anymore anyway she said yes and would send someone to come get it down. A young guy comes over and asks who we talked too that said we could have it because management is supposed to approve that decision so he asked a manger comes back, moves a latter to the inflatable, scans it and says there will be 2 coming in friday night so to come saturday. I reserved the inflatable to pick it up saturday, I come in saturday and they still don’t have it but they then offered the floor model...which I tried to get the 1st day. I told them no i’ll wait because I paid full price to reserve one that hasn’t been used at this point. I’m told to come back monday. I come in monday to pick up this item i’ve gone around nd around for and been paid for. She says the truck is here but we haven’t unloaded it, come back tomorrow...so you’re being lazy?? I ended up getting a return bc at this point it’s ridiculous coming in on all these days it was supposed to be here and it still is not. I tried to give benefit of doubt but the fact of how customer treatment...

Home Depot was awesome.

After working with other businesses to get information on product and installation for a kitchen remodeling project, my wife and I were at a breaking point. We were mislead, request were ignored, and price for any deviation from what they typically offered was upcharged by over 150%. We were either going to have to accept something we didn't really like,, or pay a greatly increased price or not do the project at all. My wife was ready to forget about doing the project all together.

While driving home from another disappointing visit with a supplier my wife suggested we stop at Home Depot to see their selection of items for a kitchen remodel. While looking at countertop samples an HD employee asked if we had any questions. To shorten the story, I'll just say all questions were answered, we were able to get exactly what we wanted (installed too), and while cost was a little higher than the lowest price froremodeling (supplying product we didn't like), it was thousands less than what others quoted when we requested products other than what they were trying to push on us.

I would actually give Home Depot 0 (zero) stars because they are ridiculously inept!! We bought $6,000 of appliances, paid for them, and they can't seem to get them to us. We have had 3 different delivery dates and still have no appliances. You get NO pre-delivery contact the day before the quoted delivery date so you wait around all day the day you are scheduled only to find that you're not really getting a delivery that day. You call AND you go to the store, but no one can seem to get your products delivered to you. So, they give you another delivery date, and guess what?!.....you don't get them that delivery day either or even the next delivery day. Now, supposedly, the appliances are in a warehouse less than 30 miles away from the store. We even offered to rent a truck from Home Depot (as we're told they do that) and go pick the appliances up ourselves, but alas, no one is even there to let you pick them up! Probably because no one is there to deliver them either!! BUY ELSEWHERE IF YOU WANT YOUR APPLIANCES ACTUALLY IN YOUR HOME!! Run quickly to Lowe's or Best Buy if you want to receive the appliances you order...
